Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 9a day in atlantic city
the red carpet inn was conveniently located near two major casinos providing easy access to those who want to get right to their gambling. The hotel had two eating establishments near its doorstep, as well. As for the hotel itself, the lobby and hallways are very nondescript looking, to say the least, maybe even a bit dirty and uninviting to be a bit more honest. The staff, meanwhile, was pleasant and accomadating. As for the room itself, the bed was very comfortable and the air conditioning worked very well. Nevertheless, it lacked some basic amenities and was not completely clean: the two large towels were dirty; one had a large stain that wasn't completely washed out and the other had hair on it. I promptly took the dirty towels to the lobby and the staff changed them for two fresh, clean one and apologized for the misgiving. The surrounding neighborhood is also an issue of concern. You really wouldn't want to walk around it at night unless you have to. It's unsafe; the streets teeming with too many unsavory people in the evening hours. In a nutshell, I would have to say that for a one-night stayover, the hotel would suffice but anything beyond that definitely isn't worth it. You have motels in that price range that are much cleaner and better kept and situated in better areas as well without having to sacrifice proximity to the hotels.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 2 of 9Awful
The place was a dirt hole. Didn't have an ironing board or iron in the room, had to go to the front desk to ask for one. After I left, I was accused of stealing two hotel comforters. Who would ever want a motel bed comforter!!! Awful stay!!! Just awful and it was not worth the money, at all.

Trip Type: Romance Review 4 of 9never judge a hotel by it's lobby!
When we arrived we were disapointed because the outside looked kinda beat up. But the room was in great condition. The bed had clean sheets and I assure you NO bed bugs. Overall the room was clean. The staff was very helpful and polite. It's location was conviniently close to the Taj Mahal but a bit far from the rest of the casinos(if you're walking).

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 9needs improvement
Hotel has nothing that would justify paying the price that was paid. No coffe pot, iron, blow dryer. Had a small refrigerator that needed defrosted. The bathroom was gross and in great need of repair.

The location was nice, because it was really close to the boardwalk and beach. On the other hand the hotel it dirty around the hall ways. The room was sort of clean, (poop on the toilet seat, pubic hair in tub) Besides that it was clean!!! The bed was comfortable. Ow, Yea! Watch out the cleaning guy likes to help himself to a bear from the fridge!! Ya he definitely took a bear of ours!!!!
