Hotel in a Condom

The hotel was being renovated so the windows were covered in plastic. It was like staying at the buble boys house. The place also had a moldy smell to it and the floors didn't feel even.

Glad I stop in Texarkana!

A great break from the road! Did not want to leave! Service was excellent!!!!

Good value

Hotel was being rennovated. Got one of the newly rennovated rooms and it was great. Work areas were not a problem.

Outstanding Hotel

Overall ,I was very satisfied with the room and hotel staff, exceeded my expectations for the price.The rooms was clean and fully renowated and had nice LCD tv.I absolutely loved everything about this hotel and would definitely stay there again.

The room was spacious, lighting was excellent

Hotel is still under construction o the outside; however, the service was great. Everything was crisp and clean. Sheets were very smooth no roughness, pillows were good.

A Work in Progress

While the staff was courteous, and the location is fantastic, this hotel must still be deemed a work in progress. Much renovation is still (July, 2009) in progress. Thus, I heard a lot of knocking and the sound of power tools on the morning of my stay. My roomed smelled strongly of paint (although it improved when I turned the A/C on). Also, the smoke detector was sitting on top of the dresser; not plugged in. The breakfast was only okay. The vanity in the bathroom was not entirely clean. Please don't get me wrong--one could not call this room "dirty." It just wasn't up to the standards I've seen at most hotels, even budget hotels. The bed was comfortable and my room featured a really nice LCD TV with an impressive cable.

One night stay

I had seen where some previous were fairly negative so I was ready to expect the worse. The hotel was under some sort of construction but room rate was very good and as it turned out the hotel was quite satisfactory. The room was clean, the bed was reasonably comfortable. If I had a complaint would be the airconditioner was a bit noisy and not particularly efficient at keeping the room cool and the humidity low.

Under renovation!!!

First of all, the photo of the motel was not the motel we stayed at!! The motel was under rentovation and looked like a dump from the outside. Thankfully the room was cool and was a big improvement from the inside. The plumbing was outdated and the toilet ran constantly while we were there. No ice machine on the 2nd floor so I had to go to the far end of the 1st to get ice. The pool was open but hard to get to because of the scoffoling and workers present. Would not reccomend this motel.

Needs Major Improvement

Half of the hotel is still under renovation. Hotel looks abandoned, room and lobby are not clean.
