Young Children are not welcome to go down the slide

I have a six year old young child that swims but not all that well. They made him take a very difficult swim test even though he could touch bottom where the one slide comes out. He could have swam and stood up in the slide area, but he was made to test in another pool in very deep water. It was very unfair and he was extreamly disapointed. I would not recomend taking any young children because they will not let you go down with them or watch them. Very unhappy even though the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Needs Improvement

Our room didn't meet our expectations on two counts: First, we found the pillows to be uncomfortable, too thick. Secondly, the cooling system was difficult to regulate for comfort. It was either blowing till very cool or waiting till it was too warm to kick in again.

Advertized water slide

The people were very nice but the advertiized water slide was not open and it was a great disappoitment for the children. Dates of operation for the water slide were not mentioned in the reviews that I saw before I booked the hotel. Rooms were average and food was good at the resturant.

Get all information

Due to booking online, we lost one of the great benifits of staying at this hotel, that is leaving your vehicle at the hotel lot while you are away for NO charge. Also, when we checked in, the front desk told us not to rely on our alarm clock due to the fact they were going to be shutting the power off in the motel for a short time at 1am and they would loose their setting. When we received our wake up knock on the door at 4am, there was no power or phone at the motel. They did put a glowstick under our door for us to use as our only source of light. We would have never booked the starting night of our honeymoon there had we been informed of these things.

Great room

This was a very nice hotel with very comfortable beds. The only problem I had was the water slide was closed. We were able to swim in the pool but the girls weren't able to slide down the slide.

Not what you think it is

This hotel boasts its water park, but is not at all kid friendly when it comes to their service. We were treated very poorly both in the restaurant and in the cafe as we were with teenagers and a small child. The food was way over priced and the servers appeared very judgemental.

Okay hotel

The hotel needed to be updated, the mattress seemed worn out (too soft in the middle), the hallway traffic was loud (walls seemed thin). The restaurant was good, but kind of pricey. Overall, it was an okay hotel to stay at.

Needs Improvement

The service was good, but the cleanliness of the rooms needs much improvement. When we went into our room there was old coffee left in the pot and toe nail clippings on the bathtub! We requested a non-smoking room, but the room reeked of smoke. My friend is allergic to smoke and cats and she immediately broke out in hives. When we told the front desk they promptly gave us a different room. The next room seemed cleaner but still smelled slightly smoky. My friend's hives settled down after some Benadryl so we decided this was probably the best room we could get. I guess the hotel is decent for the price and surprisingly quiet despite being right next to the airport. The pool was also a nice feature.

Great room for the money

We checked in late, the late night front desk host was very helpful and quick. Our room was big and clean. The water park was smaller than I had expected. You need to call and make sure it's open before you go.
