Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 13the good, the bad, the ugly
the good - very clean and impresive hotel. Small yet very upscale look to it. When it was raining hard on my stay there. They lended us 2 umbrellas for the day for free. Plus you get FREE complimentary internet and a desktop computer in each room. the bad - 2 train station nearby yet not that close by... both stops are about 4 or 5 blocks away. the ugly - We enjoyed our stay there however there are 2 Ramada Hotels at KangNam part of Seoul and if u don't know that... the taxi could mistakenly take u to the wrong other Ramada.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 13Sunny & Sung
the Good - 1. got the room for hundred range per night and for the money was GREAT! 2. clean very modern, felt like a top class hotel feeling. 3. great service from top to bottom. The maid service was ultra friendly, the manager & front desk so helpful, the doorman lended us 2 umbrellas on rainy days. 4. All the taxi drivers knew exactly where it's at... there are 2 Ramada Hotels in kangnam, Seoul so makell sure u tell them to take u to the one at the kangnam co-ex. 5. great 24 hours KG store and a 24 hours boon shik jum restaurant for dduk bok eee and kimbap across the street. 6. night club downstairs and restaurant and a po jang ma cha opens up near entrance at late night. 7. FREE wifi with a computer in all the rooms! the Bad - 1. kinda too far from the subway stations. u have to walk a good 4+ blocks for a subway station. the UGLY - really nothing bad to say about this place. I love the FREE computer in the room with FREE internet. it's a great place to stay. for hundred range range.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 13Good Hotel
I stayed here based on one reviewers claim of a great location. I'm not sure why that claim was made. The location is just OK. Nice hotel for the price. Would stay there again.

I thought the stay was absolutely amazing. They upgrades us to a better stay. The only problem was the plumming of the sink, it was leaking. After brushing my teeth, the floor was wet.

We enjoyed our stay at the Ramada Seoul. The 7 minute walk to the Subway is accurate, but don't try to go from the Subway to the hotel with luggage. It is all up hill.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 7 of 13Reasonable price but needs more attention tp be better positioned
This hotel was fine for the rates and location. But too much group tour bus packed around the hotel and the bell boy wasn't friendly to incoming customer. One of the outlet in my room was out so I had a limited choice either use lamp or notebook. And they charge internet access with a relatively expensive rate which is very unusual to Korea. (Korea is considered one of the most well qualified, ubiquotous IT environment country in the world) Receptionist at the front desk was more passive than proactive. The guy who checked in my room assignment was kinda annoying as he kept insisting I don't need any voltage transfer equipment no matter how I explained my notebook requirement until I got angry and raised my voice finally. The woman who checked out my room saw me at first but she seemed busy to fool around me until I called her by saying "Hello". To me, this hotel just look for group tourist which is stable and more profitable rather than individual traveler. But it's still not deniable they have a reasonable priced room at the prime location.

Trip Type: Family Review 8 of 13Good value for the location
The Ramada Seoul is a decent value for the money. The standard rooms are on the smallish side by American standards, but they're about average for Seoul. Despite the location on a fairly busy street, the rooms are fairly quiet. The best views overlook the park to the south of the hotel that contains three royal tombs from the 15th and 16th century. The hotel is located about a 1 km walk from the Seollung Metro station (on the loop line 2) or the Gangnam-Gu Office station on line 7. Downtown Seoul is about a 30 minute ride and requires a transfer, but the metro is pretty easy to navigate, even if you don't speak or read Korean. A short taxi ride or long walk will bring you to the COEX mall (don't miss the Buddhist temple across the street), and a similarly short taxi ride will get you to the main section of Gangnam-Gu, where there are lots of restaurants and nightlife and shopping. There are a number of coffee/waffle/bagel places in the area for breakfast (which can be had significantly less expensive outside the hotel). Options for lunch or dinner in the immediate vicinity are a bit fewer and farther between, however. Overall, the Ramada is a decent value in a nice section of town. I'd definitely stay there again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 10 of 13Great Experience
We stayed for only one night but found the staff to be the most polite and gracious of any of the hotels we stayed at during our trip. Breakfast was also included which was a nice surprise!
