Trip Type: With Friends Review 2 of 264Bag lunch "continental breakfast"?
Wow, really disappointed. The air conditioner was literally falling off the wall. The included continental breakfast was an apple, a small danish and a granola bar in a lunch bag. Plus there were no signs, so if you didn't ask you won't even have gotten that much. Very strange.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 264Great for the money
It was okay, We just checked in to sleep, got there late. The front desk staff was not to friendly, the elevator did not work, had to call the front desk for that issue. Had to go back down to the front desk for the remote, not to convenient. Had cold brkfst only. But was good if you're going to check in late and go right to bed.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 5 of 264I enjoyed my stay at the Ramada Plaza Hotel!
Although I travel quite a bit to Arizona, I had never stayed at the Ramada Plaza Hotel. To my surprise, I was very pleased overall. First off the rate of the room was great. I was traveling and didn't want to spend too much money on hotel faire. Even though the hotel desk operator informed me that the rates currently were "summer rates", it was worth it. The hotel had a spacious room, with very renovated upgrades in it. A spa like bathroom with sliding entrance door, mini fridge/microwave combintation. As well a great air conditioner that was almost at times too cold. But with staying in AZ, that was fine. I was centrally located near a mini shopping mall, well known eateries, and everyone that assisted me at the hotel was friendly. I was even able to order take out, which was delivered to my hotel room, and received a discount, since the hotel has a relationship with the restaurant. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. And I would definitely stay at the Ramada when visiting the Phoenix area.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 264A mixed bag
Location and price seemed reasonable. Clean, but when we first checked in and got to our room there were no linens -- bed was stripped and bedspread/pillows on floor. Manager moved us to a room of a lesser type than we had booked (standard instead of King). When went to get breakfast in the morning (a major reason we chose the hotel) we were told they hadn't gotten any food deliveries for a couple of days and didn't have any breakfast; this was after I had asked about breakfast at check-in the night before and been told to just come down in the morning for it. Was disappointed in the lack of even an apology, let alone having to pay for service we did not receive.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 13 of 264Good hotel, bad front desk help
The hotel was clean and comfortable. The bed was comfortable and has a modern decor. The only real bad side was the front desk clerk, she was not friendly and it appeared that I was bothering her on check-in. She did not inform us of anything but just where our room was. The maids were very friendly and tried to be helpful whenever possible, this I feel made up for the rude check-in experience. Overall, I will stay here again. I was a relaxing stay, once you pass the check-in process.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 14 of 264very nice for the price
Over all, I was very pleased with the room. It had a nice feel to it. Great beds, good towels and the upgraded features in the bathroom were a nice surprise. Although they only had 1 packet of coffee and there was two of us. The desk staff in the morning was not as nice as the evening staff. The restrant was closed for some reason so breakfast was a bit, disappointing....A brown bag with an apple, nutrigrain bar, a packaged danish, and a bottle of water. It could have been worse though. Overall the best part was the room. I would stay again.
