Trip Type: With Friends Review 17 of 264Very Clean room
Check in was easy and clerk was very nice. The room was better than I expected and very nice smelling. I like the no smoking policy that the hotel has. I beleive the rooms were recently remodeled. If I was in the area I would stay there again. The downside of this hotel was the breakfast. A bag with water, granola bar, apple and danish is not my idea of a continental breakfast. They had no tea bags only coffee in room. When I asked the desk for tea they said they didn't have any.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 18 of 264A few things
This property advertised a hot American breakfast buffet but it was not offered at the time of my stay. The restaurant on site was completely shut down, so there was also no room service, which was advertised as well. There also wasn't a phone book in the room, so I couldn't even find the nearest pizza delivery. The front desk staff was friendly and efficient, the housekeeping exceeded what I expected. The beds were comfortable and the mini-fridge was clean and free of the odors I've experienced in other hotel fridges. The entrance could be better marked, but parking wasn't an issue. Wireless service was spotty, and the TV remote didn't work well. All in all, I'd consider staying here again, but I'll make sure I research restaurants nearby before I leave home.

Trip Type: Family Review 20 of 264Great Room for the money
After driving all night, I entered the hotel and was greeted by the elderly man, hotel service, and he checked me in. Was quiet. Did not give me any additional information as far as breakfast or if they had a complimentary one. No restaurant information nor did he tell me about the pool or gym availability. I don't know, maybe I should have asked, I'm just used to being greeted with a smile and all information given to me as I am signing and giving my credit card and license to the clerks. Other than that, the rooms were very clean and hotel itself was very nice.

Trip Type: Business Review 21 of 264No More Full Breakfast Buffet?
I've stayed here seven times over the past eighteen months. Loved the full, hot breakfast buffets with eggs, bacon or sausage on alternate days, country potatoes, and the usual cereals, bagels, and make-your-own waffles. Not any more. I was greeted to bagels and grapefruit. I was told they stopped serving the full breakfast two days before I arrived. Sorry, but I came for the breakfasts and I won't be back. They lost a repeat business traveler.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 23 of 264Lazy Staff
We checked in late on a Friday night and were gone from the room all day on Saturday, when we returned Saturday evening the room had not been cleaned...the beds were made and the trash cans were re-lined but the mirrors were not washed (my sons finger prints were still on them) they had not replaced the shampoos and hygeine items that we had used, they didn't replace or restock the towels and didn't take out the used room service tray and they shut off the air-conditioner...in JULY in PHOENIX...that day it was over 100 degrees...needless to say when we returned my husband went to ask the front desk about the problems we discovered and the response he got was that he could call the manager after 8:30am on Monday and it was Saturday night...I called the manager right away Monday morning and he didn't return my phone call until Tuesday evening and his response to me was that he would "talk" to his staff...absolutely ridiculious!!!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 24 of 264Great Hotel!!
I have stayed at this hotel muliple times and am always impressed. It is always fairly inexpensive but is very nice. They remodled it a few years ago and I love the modern feel to it.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 25 of 264Requested early checkin, had short delay. In the past long delay or except a double bed rather than the requested king.
Hotel person needs to be more concerned with customer needs as requested. The person I had the last couple of times, tried to save the king room for others. When I refused to accept the double bed, she found a king.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 26 of 264Victim of economic times?
I WAS impressed by the people that worked at the Ramada. They made the best of what they had to work with. I was not impressed by the condition of the hotel or the "perks" that I had chosen the hotel over others for. The carpets were not clean. In the rooms the carpets were stained and smelled badly. The carpet in the restauraunt area was filthy. It smelled sour to walk past it. The exercise facility was not whare it was supposed to be. In addition it consisted of only three machines, two which dids not work properly, one which was labeled as out of order. I had to find a local gym and purchase a week pass. My room had mildew growing outside of the bathroom wall. The last evening there my shower broke and I was issued a key to the next door room to use that shower (I was already established in the room that I was in). The pool was a little murky in the deep end. I could not see the kids if they dove to the bottom until they began to surface. I, therefore, did not go in the pool. My television did not work for two days. After a few calls it was reprogrammed to work. The staff WAS courteous. The continental breakfast was there some days and bleak on others. The last day I was there, the food items consisted of cereal, bread, and waffles. There was a sign telling customers that there were limited portions on a first come basis, although the breakfast hours were until 10. Portions would sometimes be gone before 9. On good days they provided eggs and bacon or ham. THe wait staff was VERY pleasant and as helpful as possible. I attributed the poor condition of guest accomodations to the economy. If not for the people that worked at the hotel, I would have cancelled my booking and stayed elsewhere.

Trip Type: Business Review 27 of 264Convenience and Value
This is a clean and nice hotel. Most of the staff are very friendly and helpful. The on-site restaurant is very convenient. The pool and jacuzzi are well maintained. The business center is nice. There is also self-serve washers and dryers on-site as well as dry-cleaning and full-serve laundry service. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for value, many amenities and location right off the I-17.

Trip Type: Family Review 28 of 264Don't let the outside image fool you!
When I was driving up to the hotel I was already thinking it wasn't going to be a pleasant stay. When I checked in the service was good. The rooms were more then excedeed my expectations. I was very impressed with the comfortable beds and the cleanliness. The breakfast buffet was even a surprise. Had eggs, bacon, and you were able to make your own waffles. And there was plenty of shopping, dining, and entertainment around to experience. I know I will be going back again!
