Exceeded my expectations

Great hotel. Location is awesome. About a mile away from Old Town San Diego and less then 10 minutes away from airport. Check in was a breeze. Front Desk was very helpful and made my stay very comfortable. They printed my flight information for me. Had a problem with TV remote and they had maintenance at my room to fix problem within 5 minutes. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. Will be returning soon.

Very Satisfied!!!

I was very satisfied staying at this hotel. The price was inexpensive without compromising the quality. The room was clean, had 2 queen beds, fridge, microwave, coffee maker, TV. The maids did a great job cleaning the room and refilling the supplies. The location was great and convenient. It's got a heated pool as well. The only complain I have is the AC was a little loud. But other than that, I would stay at this hotel again and would recommend it to friends and family.

Out dated, smelled like mildew

Hotel has the smell of a seedy downtown motel. The workers were standing outside the door smoking when I arrived. If you can get past that it is fair.

better than expected from prior reviews, staff was very pleasant and treated us well. room service was really good, and room was clean.

Stayed here our first night in town and paid the regular price at the hotel (did not book through hotels.com for the first night) Had a decent room, no problems. Decided to stay the next 4 nights and paid $30 less per night by booking through hotels.com - yay!! First room we got that time though was on the ground floor right beside parking and an access door -- SO noisy we had to switch rooms. Second room was definately a lot better, the only problem being the light that kept going on and off in the bathroom. Otherwise, the staff was friendly, the location convenient to everything and the price couldn't be beat! Oh, and most important for my mom was that all the doors open inside the building, not an outdoor access to the entire parking lot!

It was good for the price. My main complaint was I stayed at this place 2 different times and both times I had to ask guest services for a different TV. I think they should replace all their TVs because going from room to room to change out TVs is a lousy idea. But over all it was an ok stay.

Nice room, hotel run down

The room was clean and comfortable, the hotel overall is older and has a smell of mold. Then they try to over power the smell with major fresheners that did not work.

Outdated Hotel

Rooms were small and smelled very musty. The furniture in the hotel was old as was the resturant. In a conveneint location. Would not reccomend hotel to anyone. Would pay extra for a better hotel.
