Needs improvement

First night hotel air conditioner did not work at all. Very hot and stuffy next morning so they moved us to new room. New room was missing tv remote. Gave us several more but none worked with tv. Smelled like smoke but was non smoking room. Had no plastic cups and asked for some to take to pool and none came. Then toilet backed up. Told front desk. He had no idea what to do and no plunger. Finally after a while the toilet did work. Paper said you could ask if available, to have late check out at 1 instead of 12 and called front desk and she said 12:30. Left asap.

Ok for money, not impressed

I had called the day before check in to request an early check in. The woman who answered was not helpful but told us to ask when we arrived. When we showed up to the hotel we were firmly told that there were no rooms available for an early check in and that we would just have to wait until we returned (well after midnight) to check in. That was fine until I was standing to the side of the desk, out of eyesight and waiting to use the restroom, when another woman walked up and checked in without any problems. In addition, the parking is ridiculous. We had to park in a different parking lot, around the corner and we (two young girls) had to carry all of our bags half a block by ourselves in the middle of the night, since we could not get an early check in. Beds not comfortable and neither of us got a good nights sleep. The room was clean and ok for the money. In no way was I impressed though.

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL

WOULD RECOMMEND TO FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO STAY HERE IN PALM SPRINGS

Very nice Hotel with hidden "Goodies"

I actually really liked the hotel there were only two things that bothered me a little: 1. There were little droplets of blood on the sheets, as if someone had scratched off a scab and rolled around all night. I immediately checked for scratches on myself but i couldn't find any.. odd. 2. When i came back after a long night at the show (about 4-5am) I was surprised to find Jimmy in the room.... Jimminy Cricket that is... and boy was he chirpin it up, I just couldn't find him. Every time i got close he stopped. I just pretended i was camping at a riverbank. Other than that .. terrific

Great place to stay

This hotel was in a great location just outside the "busy" parts of Palm Springs. I took my children here for a portion on their spring break. The pools were awsome for the kids. The have two pools, one that is heated and one that is not (AKA, FREEEZING) they had two spas at diffrent tempatures as well. (they actually had three but one was out of order while we were staying there) The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. They were able to give accurate directions to locations. The stay included "breakfast" at the restraunt next door (seems on-site) We used the coupon for breakfast one morning. The only downside was the coupon only covers "2" people for a complete breakfast. Or 25% off entire bill, which was the option we used. The restraunt was quite slow and they mostly seemed to have forgotten about us. They have indoor our outdooor seating. The hotel room was comfortable and clean. It had a refridgerator. In the lobby they sell small "munchies" and have a microwave anyone can use. This will defantly be a place I return to with the kids.

3 choice of Cont. Breakfast, or 25% off menu. Wifi free, but couldn't get it to work. only there for 1 nite this trip. Front Desk very helpful.

Ramada- old hotel in need of maintenance!

This hotel was older, I knew that but it is in need of some maintenance. The location was fine but the pool wasn't nice at all. There are two pools and three small jacuzzis. One of them was closed for maintenance. The larger pool was not so clean. Either too much chemicals or not enough but either way the water was so cloudy you could barely see bottom. Gross! My kids (9 & 13) didn't even want to go in it. As for the room, it was fine but the bed was horrible. The mattress didn't even move when sat on and had no spring. It felt like it had a piece of wood under the old mattress for support. Horrible nights sleep!!! I will never stay here again. Next time I will spend a few more bucks and go back to our favorite, the Wyndham.

Room locks did not work

We had to visit the front desk 5 times because the lock on the door kept NOT working. That was VERY inconvenient and an annoying time waster. The bed was EXTRA firm, almost like wood, and the towels felt like scratchy bathroom rugs. Other than all that, it had a great restaurant on the premises which we ate in for a discount, and the hotel is also in a very convenient location. I would give it 2 out of 5 stars.
