This is a great hotel in an excellent location. The breakfast coupons at Mahi Mah's buffet were such a delight addition. The only negative issue was the parking lot. It was horrendous to navigate your way up and down without hitting the columns.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 2 of 229Great location
The hotel staff were very attentive and the resturant was excellent. You couldnt ask for a better view of the ocean too. On the end of the boardwalk that is a little quieter which is really nice. Lots of people to watch on the boardwalk. The room was a little small but it suited 2 people just fine. The room had been redone and they were very smart at utilizing the space. Great TV, great shower. Great value as well

I just needed to get away for a few days and this was just fine. Everyone was very helpful when I asked questions with the front desk and consierge.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 229GREAT HOTEL
This was a great hotel! I was satisfied with the price (because it was off-season, Oct. 31-Nov. 1). Free valet parking; free breakfast buffet for 2 in the hotel restaurant; indoor pool and jacuzzi. The only complaints I had are 1) no microwave or refrigerator in the room; and 2) there was a big black drainage pipe on the beach in front of the hotel, which kind of spoiled our view (but not too much). I was very, very impressed with this hotel overall (98%).

Trip Type: Special Event Review 9 of 229Great Deal
I had nothing but a good experience at this hotel. Comfortable and clean, but the best part was the balcony on the ocean. Relaxing with balcony open and waves crashing was so relaxing for a weekend away.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 229Romantic Getaway on the offseason
We live in Virginia Beach and decided to stay for a night to celebrate our anniversary in late October. This time of year the beach is nearly empty and the weather was perfect (high 70s). We ate at Mahi Mahis in the hotel and were blown away by the quality of the food. The hotel was quiet (once the jets from NAS Oceana stopped flying around 10 PM...this is a problem for ALL the hotels on the strip, not just the Ramada) and the view was amazing. I guess the bathroom was smallish but we didn't stay there for the size of the bathroom. Completely recommend this hotel.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 229Good hotel for the price
The beds were extremely comfortable and all the rooms overlook the beach. We were able to get a refrigerator in the room for a small extra fee(since we hadn't paid for an efficiency). We greatly enjoyed Mahi Mah's for drinks and sushi.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 229Check-in service needs serious help
I booked an "efficiency" room with breakfast included. What I received was not an "efficiency" room and there was no mention of breakfast at check in. Since the microwave and refrigerator were not a necessity, I didn't complain. I checked with a new clerk the next morning and received the breakfast vouchers. She was friendly and accommodating. I had to request a replacement for a missing hair dryer, but the dryer arrived quickly, as did a maintenance worker to fix the in-room safe that didn't work. The on-site restaurant was excellent. The complimentary parking valet service was friendly and quick. The bed and bedding and other room amenities were excellent. Avoid the "concierge" who is really a thinly disguised time-share salesperson.
