Nice staff and wonderful room services. Bus service from the hotel to LGW was excellent and on time.Good food but expensive.

Very expensive meals and extras

The regular rates (Hotel.com rate was less than 50%) are very high and does not include breakfast or transport to Airport. Extra charge for internet access. Not within walking distance to resturants and shops. Neat and very clean. Friendly staff.

Good Restaurant, Bad Experience

The location was great and the shuttle service to airport (not free) was convenient and speedy enough. Enjoyed the meal in the restaurant very much. The room was American-sized and would have been comfortable had the a/c been working. We called down for maintenance, but nobody was sent as promised. Since the windows didn't open, we sweltered all night. Front desk clerk was sufficiently contrite when we complained at check-out but too late for us. Not a good experience the night before a cross-Atlantic flight. (P.S. temp problem wasn't just in our room because the public areas were frigid.)

Good hotel for Gatwick morning departures

Greeted by friendly desk clerk - answered all our questions satisfactorily. Asked for twin bedded room but found we were assigned to a queen sized bedroom - didn't bother to change the room. Dining was expensive but well-cooked and Canadian waitress made us feel at home and attended to. Would stay there again.

Great Hotel for Gatwick Airport

Large rooms, clean and very reasonably priced. One exit further up the motorway from Gatwick, but non-gouging fuel station nearby and very convenient to get back to Gatwick and car rental returns. This hotel isn't overstated, it knows it's their to facilitate travelers and businesses and does that very well. Dining is not their forte, but the restaurant and bar are modern and the selection reasonable.

Great Airport Hotel

This hotel was very convenient from the Gatwick Airport. We caught the hotel shuttle right outside the baggage claim door. The hotel was clean and comfortable.

Perfect Hotel for leaving from Gatwick

We were looking for a place to stay for one night before leaving from Gatwick and the Ramada was perfect. It was quiet, the rooms were large, the food service was good, it was easy to find and easy to get to the airport the next morning. We had a rental car to return, but our friend used the shuttle for an early morning flight and that also was great. We couldn't have been happier

"Do Not Recommend"

Very poor parking situation due to party going on at the hotel. Very loud party that could be heard on the 4th floor of the hotel. Cockroaches in room. Had to move in the middle of the night. We were staying there because of convenience to airport, but did not get much sleep. I was told by hotel they would compensate us but on checking out they said they could not. Person at the desk even asked if I was sure it was cockroaches not bedbugs! Not honestly what would make the difference.

Perfectly satisfactory choice for one-night layover at Gatwick airport

Booking this hotel on hotels.com provided good value for a necessary overnight stay at Gatwick for a connecting flight the following day. We had a quick and efficient check-in and the room was quiet and comfortable.
