I had no idea the hotel was under renovation when I booked my stay (2 weeks). Although the hotel staff was accommodating as far as providing the microwaves and refrigerators I requested for myself and my crew, my room had no heat, my telephone only worked periodically, and some of the staff were rather unfriendly. I also had to repeatedly ask about whether the noisy painting crew with air compressors outside of my room would stop at any reasonable hour (this was after 6 pm). The clerk had to call the owners and tell them people were complaining, and they finally made the painting crew stop work. I understand that renovations need to be made. I just don't feel that they should be made to the discomfort of the people staying there in the mean time.

This hotel was such a disappointment. I have stayed in Ramada Inns all over this country and none have compared to this. The room was disgusting. The carpets didn't appear to have been vaccuumed and there was hair on the coffee pot that didn't belong to either my husband or myself. There were cigarette burns all over the carpet and quite frankly I was afraid to walk around barefoot in the room. The bar traffic took up all the parking spaces when we returned to the hotel in the evening and the patrons of the bar were so loud, we could not get to sleep until 2 am. I realize people were there to have a good time, but when I pay for a room, I expect to be able to park somewhere in the general vicinity of my room and not be disturbed by obscenities being screamed into the night.
