Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 16Needs Improvement
Our room was rather basic with an interlocking door that could make things noisy if anyone was staying there (only about 7 cars in lot). The TV was located in the living area of the L-shaped room and could not be viewed when in bed. The connected resturant was closed and was very hard to find breakfast the next day. They actually sent us to another hotel! Would not stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 16Comfy beds, spacious rooms, ocean views
The hotel and room were nicer than I expected. The bed was very comfortable and we were pleasantly surprised to wake up to an ocean view! The linens and towels were soft and better than you would expect at this price point. The only complaint I have is that we were given a room with only 1 bed when I specifically booked a room with 2 doubles. There was a pull out bed in the couch, but it was not nearly as comfortable as a real bed. It was so late when we checked in, that I did not bother to ask for another room. I am sure they would have given me another room had I asked.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 4 of 16Good Stay
The hotel was clean and comfortable. Would have liked to be able to turn the TV so I could watch it from the couch. My only complaint is the door that can join two rooms together is not insultated well enough. I could hear the conversation in the room next to me verbatum. Other than that I had a good stay. I loved the location, close to walk or drive onto the beach.

Trip Type: Romance Review 6 of 16Great overall
The only reason I gave a 4 on comfort of the room is because the bed was to hard. In most hotel rooms the beds are too hard. Maybe there could be "feather" beds available for those people that just can't sleep on a hard surface! Just a thought!!!

We got a room for 4 people for a great price and it's clean. I will not recommend the dining service.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 16Comfy Beds - a bit of a walk to "town"
I found the hotel staff to be extremly friendly. Comfy beds. Great attached restaraunt. Great stay for the price. Only downsides - pool and hot tub is closed (it used to have an attached waterpark but the state required 6 lifeguards at all times), and two, although Ocrean Shores is a tiny town, the Ramada is at the end of the beach. Its about a 15 minute walk to town = no fun in the rain!

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 16No water slides
The hotel was ok but we specifically chose this hotel because it had a water park/water slides. We even called before hand to make sure. When we arrived we were informed the water park was now only open on Sat. and was going to be permanently closed so a pool could be put in. We were extremely irate that we were delibarately lied to and are looking into getting a partial refund since none was offered at the time. To have the park closed on Labor Day weekend is a very poor business practice.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 16Great Hotel
The hotel was great. The staff there was very helpful. The biggest surprise for us was when we got to our room; we had a view. On hotels.com it stated that no rooms had a view. We were on the third floor and we looked out onto the ocean from our room.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 14 of 16Room condition
During our stay, the front desk staff were very accomodating. Housekeeping staff may need some training. I lived in Ocean Shores for many years, I know the employee pool is a little to be desired. However, in our room were moldy grapes under the bed spread on the floor, popcorn and candy wrappers that were not ours. When our room was CLEANED on our second day, bathtub not cleaned, dirty coffee cups, coffee pot not cleaned, no coffee for the next morning. Like I said I think maybe more housekeeping staff training may help.
