Trip Type: Business Review 17 of 53Great Place to stay
We rented 2 rooms and we were impressed with this hotel. The rooms were very nice and the desk clerks were very helpful. The only thing I wasn't impressed with was the breakfast. It said a hot breakfast and it consisted of cereal and fruit and hot coffee. That was it. But other than that it was great.

You can hear the traffic passing by, but what can you expect for Houston? The room and bed were comfortable.

Trip Type: Business Review 23 of 53terrible, terrible, terrible
This was a terrible experience. I was traveling to Houston on business, and had confirmed the day before arriving that there would be internet (I understand about the hurricane problems, which was why I wanted to be sure I had internet). I was told that, yes, they do have wireless in guest rooms. Not the fact. Besides not being able to work while staying at the hotel, I had to wait for 80 minutes for a pickup at the hotel. I called the front desk and was told "15 minutes," and then 20 minutes later when I called again it was another "15 minutes." One of the drivers drove like a crazy man, cutting off traffic and actually being flipped off by a very angry driver. The "continental breakfast" they offer is not available to everyone; you must be one of the special ones to receive a voucher. All in all a huge headache and not a place I would recommend (ok, maybe to my worst enemy).

Room was cleaned spotless daily, wireless was not great but do-able, closer to the office better it got. Neighborhood was a little rough to say the least. Price was right for service offered.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 26 of 53A big disappointment
When I arrived after driving 125 miles I was an hour early and was told checkin was not until 2 p.m. which was not a problem. I waited in the lobby and when 2 p.m. came and went I finally went back to the desk inquired about the room they said they had one...I was checked into the room and when I arrived began unpacking a few things...when I noticed there were personal items still in the room. When I called the front desk no one answered after 10-12 rings so I went outside and found a maid and told her about the room..The front desk told me to come back to the desk, so I had to load up all my luggage and haul it back to the lobby where they issued me another room just 3 doors from where I started...There did not seem to be much concern about the inconvenience to me. Also, the airport shuttle did not start until 6 a.m. and I had a 6:50 flight so I was forced to spend $40. for a cab to the airport...I will never stay there again and will be very suspect if ever I were given an option to select Ramada Inn in the future...This was not a pleasant experience. I also tweeked my back when I had to drag my bags back and forth. Thank you SueD.

Trip Type: Business Review 27 of 53Leaking ceiling
I checked in Room 433 on 10/14. next day, the ceiling started dripping water while I was sleeping. I thought it was faucet, then it was from the ceiling. I called the front desk to report the water leaking issue. She told me to send a maintenance to my room. After a few minutes, the water is dripping down from side wall and crossing the room to smoke alarm. The alarm went off and water dropping down from ceiling crazily. The bed is wet. I called front desk again to get a new room. The front desk asked me to come to the lobby for the key. The rain was pouring down hard. I got soaking wet when I got in lobby. The front desk has no apology and I got mad and told them that I can't believe that they have me come all the way here to get soaking wet for the key due to the ceiling leaking water coming down in my bed. The front desk replied with "because I ask to change the room". The leaking ceiling and smoking alarm setting off in my room and that is the room I paid for. I asked for a new room and that is the punishment I got from the hotel front desk. The hotel moved me to room 441. I got the key and it worked first time. When I return the room, I can't open the door. It turned out the door lock is bad. Each time, when I return to my room and I have to report to the front desk. Then, Hotel front desk called someone to open the door for me each time. When I am ready to get some rest, the bed sheet has stains on it. they looked like blood dried out stains. I called front desk again and they send a maid to my room. She stated that it is burned by the dryer. I suspect that and refused to sleep with that bed sheet. she took the bed sheet with her and told me she is going to bring me a new sheet. 15 minutes later, a kid dropped the bed sheet to my room. And I have to make my own bed. If you DO NOT MIND sleeping in the room, water dropping down from the ceiling and tricking alarm off and sleeping in stained bed sheet and reporting to hotel front desk each time you have to get in

Trip Type: Business Review 28 of 53Cleaning times
Working this week, I would get in early a few times to catch up on computer work(good wireless internet connection). I came in before 4 to find that they had not completed cleaning the room. As long as I was after 4:30, this did not seem to be a problem

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 30 of 53Great one night stay!
Needed a place near the Bush Intercontinental Airport that wasn't too expensive because we were flying out the next morning. Room was great. My thing is bathrooms, I cannot stand gross bathrooms but was impressed with the cleanliness! We had our little poodle with us and there are lots of nice grassy areas by the pool for him to play in. Bed was SOOO comfy. We even ordered a pizza for delivery! This place is worth it. :) Con: Was not impressed by the Continental Breakfast. They serve you, I prefer buffet style.
