Trip Type: Business Review 16 of 707Great Hotel, but....
We booked this hotel based on reviews and the area. It's suppose to be a 4 star hotel. When we booked the rooms, we were suppose to get a free upgrade to a suite. When we checked in, we only got one out of four rooms upgraded. In addition one of the king rooms booked turned out to be a small double only. Overall the hotel was nice, very small but pretty clean. The decor in the rooms were very nice but small maintenace problems persisted such as chipped tiles in the shower that I scraped my foot on, not very many amenities and a tiny cramped elevator. I liked the hotel though and would stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 17 of 707Great hotel and good location
CLean, updated with a modern decor in an older Hotel and rooms are good size. Family of 4 stayed in one room comfortably. Great proximity (walking distance) to magnificent mile stores or take a taxi to the navy pier, museums, etc. for $10/ride. 3 blocks from Lake Michigan.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 19 of 707not a 4-5 star hotel
This is not a 4-5 star hotel. No room service, room was nice but seemed a bit old. Wouldn't stay there again for the money.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 21 of 707Great Value
Got a great deal with hotels.com on this hotel. Great location. Wished they had lounge or restaurant but for the price it's understandable. Was unable to adjust the AC to our liking. Temp didn't change no matter how low we put it so room was a bit warmer than we like.

Trip Type: Business Review 23 of 707nice hotel - a few surprises
Surprised about the charge for internet use...I don't pay for internet at hwy motels...Parking arrangement was interesting - had to make a return trip to the car to find attendants don't lock cars, just rely on site security. Otherwise stay was nice. Would stay again.

Trip Type: Business Review 24 of 707Fabulous!
This is the best value in Chicago!!! It is a gorgeous hotel with a nice balance of old world architecture and modern decor. I have already recommended it to lots of people. You can't beat the location; a block and a half to Michegan Ave and just a few blocks to the lake!

This hotel room was smaller than others I have stayed in, but was very comfortable, clean, and modern.

Trip Type: Business Review 26 of 707Great Room, Great Price!
We needed to make this trip at the last minute and I booked the night before we left. I was sure it wouldn't be as nice as the pictures looked but I was wrong! It was quiet, spacious and convenient and far more plush than we needed, but I couldn't even feel guilty because we got such a great price. I would definitely recommend the Raffaello and will definitely book here in the future.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 29 of 707Great location/hotel for the money
Do yourself a favor and take a walk up to the rooftop terrace. Great view. Also, the location of the hotel was perfect if you want to walk around Chicago.
