Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 2 of 206Very good value for the price
Friends and I came only for an overnight stay in a convenient location for us, so we weren't looking for anything fancy. We just wanted a decent room with a clean bed. The room was clean and well-kept and had the standard stock amenities including hair dryer, mini-fridge, ironing board and iron, etc. The grounds appeared to be quite nice though we weren't there long enough to do anything. The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful pointing out places to eat that were still open at the hour we arrived, though we felt a little creepy walking around there in the dark. Really, the only 2 negatives I can think of was that the ice machine on our floor was locked and used for the restaurant, so we had to go up a floor for ice, and the pillows were flatter and harder than I like. But if you're just looking for a reasonably priced place to lay your head at night, this is a good bet.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 206Good for the price
Hotel is difficult to find with no outside signs. Unfortunately it took three tries to get us a room that had been cleaned. After third try we were given drink and beverage coupons. Hall carpets are in poor shape. Bartender service was good with bartender willing to look for local activities on laptop computer which was at the bar.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 6 of 206In a Bad Neighborhood
Well, the inside was nice enough, rooms okay, but on the smaller side for a suite--you had to fold up the couch to get the door open more than 1/4 of the way. Also, bathrooms did have granite counters, and soap and shampoo. That was nice. TVs in both bedroom and living room, but the one in the bedroom didn't work after a few minutes it would just screech that loud static sound. Only one elevator worked. Only one pool had water. no spa. Pool was not heated--which my husband loved, but we could only stand to be in the freezing water for 15 minutes. Only one of the water falls was on. The hotel is in walking distance to only one thing--an adult store. I am not convinced you could walk around alone safely. Far from freeway. Buffet okay, but not worth $11 each. Dinner on the expensive side...$5 American beers and $8 glasses of standard wine.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 206not bad for the price
We needed a hotel room downtown so we could be close to the light rail (and not drive). The light rail was right across the street so the convienance factor was GREAT. However the area of town is kind of old and the hotel is old. We didn't need a "fancy" place, we just wanted an average place. For the money, we got what we wanted.

Trip Type: Business Review 8 of 206Good Room for the Money
This hotel is a good value for the money, however, disappointedly, the pool was not heated (mid October visit) and there was no jacuzzi either. Lots of "yard" if you have a small family, as well as a sand volleyball court if you have time to hang out. The bonus was that it is closely located to the city's light rail system (only a short block away) and a short 10 min ride to downtown. The area surroundings are not very dynamic, with few restaurants (other than fast food). Being located "mid-town" I had higher expectations of the area in general for both shopping and nightlife (there is none in the area). The sleep number bed and the rate is why I chose to stay at this location during a business trip

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 206Very Nice
The number beds were the best. I slept like a baby. Surrounding neibor hood was not the best but over all the hotel was great.

Hotel was clean, restaurant and bar was very good - staff very helpful. The pool was not open though and I wished it had been.

Trip Type: Business Review 13 of 206serves its purpose for overnight
Hotel has Comfort Control bed that is neither. A/C sounds like a truck driving through the room. Bathroom EXCELLENT, clean and bright. There was no hotel amenities info in the room, I had to ask the desk clerk if there was a pool. Parking is easy and guarded at night. Not a neighborhood to walk at night. Only shopping nearby is Walgreens (one block) and Safeway supermarket (3 blocks). Quick access to Metro Light-Rail .
