Trip Type: With Friends Review 1 of 604Great staff, less than great rooms
The staff at this hotel is great! Everyone was so helpful and mostly friendly. The location of the hotel in relation to sites such as Pier 39, etc is good and there are some good breakfast places around. The room set up and ammenities leave something to be desired. It was tough to move in the room because if you had the doors to the TV hutch open you couldn't scoot past the bed. Not much room for hanging clothes. To sum it up, my complaints about this hotel are: - the size of the rooms, which obviously leads to difficulty in a good set up of the room. - The rooms are also very poorly lit and at night it's hard to find a mirror near light except for in the bathroom (the light that was on the desk by another mirror didn't work). The cleaning staff was good and I was always happy with the condition the room was in when I returned from a day of sightseeing.

I had a good room out the window was the parking garage but if you looked right you could see the Bay bridge and Coit Tower was a good view..

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 604Wonderful location and value
The hotel could not be better located for the value. You are close to everything. The rooms are clean, the service great and all the ammenities you need. I would highly recommend and will stay here again.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 5 of 604Good for the money
The staff were extremely nice and helpful. The room was fine, reasonable size, bed comfortable all the expected amenities including free wireless. On the down side, the had additions over the years. The elevators are in strange places with the two main elevators next to each other but with completely separate buttons on each floor. Have to push both to summon both elevators. Weird. Overall a minor inconvenience. If I got a great rate again, I would not hesitate to book this hotel again.

Trip Type: Family Review 7 of 604Great location, OK hotel
Sleep number beds, nice and clean rooms, great location. Overall very pleased. Nitpicks include high parking costs ($42 + tax, typical for the area, but still crazy), noise from street, and lack of an included breakfast

While the hotel lack in some services everything you need is right outside the door. Fisherman's Wharf is right there and convenient to local transportation. Couldn't ask for anything better.

Trip Type: Romance Review 9 of 604Great, but one drawback
I loved staying here. It was a great location which was within easy walking distance to everything we wanted. The one drawback was the noise. The hotel (and several others) was along a main road, which people traveled all day and ALL night!! I am used to a quiet house, so that may have made it worse for me, but there was constantly cars, trucks, trash trucks, and buses going up and down the road being really loud. I didn't get much sleep. One minor point - the sleep number bed was neat, but you can tell that people have played with them a little. Ours had to have a "special" touch to get it to change.

Trip Type: Family Review 10 of 604$3.00 for a cup of coffee?
For the price of the room, we felt that they should at least have complimentary coffee in the lobby for the guests. I was shocked to find a little lady asking for $3.00. for a cup of coffee the morning of our check out. Just a thought.

Everything about the hotel was okay, except for the fact that there was NO hot water to take a shower.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 13 of 604Great Location
Great Location and a good value, We did not get a balcony and I was worried the kids would fall out the window when it was open. The bottom sill of the window was 18" off the ground. Next time I would pay extra for a balcony. The pool was warm but not for the shy swimmer since people are lounging at the fire pit next to you. Parking is expensive but worth the convience.
