Great Hotel for Great Price

We only needed to be in town for one night and the desk clerk was very friendly upon our arrival. Our room was very spacious but extrememly cold. Once my husband realized he couldn't fix it, he quickly went to the front desk to alert them of the situation. The desk clerk was very prompt with sending maintenance to our room (within 10 minutes) and the problem was fixed. The bed was comfortable. I don't think our sleep number worked, but then again I was so tired, I didn't care. We would definitely stay there again.

Nice beds

Had the "Select Comfort Bed" in room. Was fun trying out the bed you see advertised, changing the firmness in the room, instead of having to do it in a shopping center.

Unexpected Surprise

From the moment we checked in, we were greeted by a friendly and helpful staff. This rang true throughout the week we stayed here. Our room was very clean, everything was in great working condition, even the AC/Heat. The included breakfast was hot, fresh, and full of choices. Over a seven day span, we can not think of anything to complain about with this accomodation. On our next trip to NYC, we plan to stay here again as the location is right off the Jersey Turnpike, just across the Bridge from Manhattan. Very convienent and traffic was managable. Great place to stay!

Bathroom a little tight

The area around the sink was crowded with the coffee maker. We had to put our personal items or the coffee maker on the floor. The trade off was the spacious room. A good trade off for me.

Exceptional Staff

Our room was not ready when we tried to check in, but we had to change and leave for a wedding in 15 minutes. Ben, the desk attendant, offered us a smoking room which we declined knowing we would have to stay in it for the duration. He quickly came up with an alternative solution and placed us in the board room to change and get ready. Quick thinking and a positive attitude saved the day. Hotel was clean and comfortable with sleep number beds.

Late Checkout - Customer Service

My husband ran the Akron Marathon. Last year we were given 3 p.m. late check out and excellent customer service. This year, however, we were only allowed until 2 p.m an told anything later would result in additional charges. This makes for a very tight schedule to return to the hotel and shower after the race. The sleep number beds were not as comfortable as we had expected. Everytime one person moves the whole bed bounces. If my husband runs this marathon next year we will not be staying in this hotel again.
