    Relatively rude and unfriendly staff. The office closes for the evening at 7pm and if you try to check in after that, you get a lecture. You have to clean your own rooms when you check out, and they actually inspect it.

Résidence Vacantel Le Clos is a modern property spread over several buildings and situated in the centre of Beauvoir, five kilometres from historic Mont-Saint-Michel and its abbey. The 28 apartments are decorated in light colours with functional furnishings. Modern amenities include televisions, well-equipped kitchenettes and private bathrooms or shower rooms.

The residence provides towels for hire and those guests arriving by car will find complimentary outdoor parking available. Situated on the border of Brittany and Normandy, Beauvoir village is set at the foot of the historic Mont-Saint-Michel. The local shops are within one kilometre, the nearest coastline is at Manche, five kilometres away, and Pontorson, home to the nearest train station, is at a seven-kilometre distance. Rennes Airport is 70 kilometres from the residence and takes approximately 90 minutes to reach by car.

The following fees and deposits are charged by the property at time of service, check-in, or check-out.

  • Deposit: €200
  • Cleaning deposit: €56 per stay
  • Cleaning/housekeeping/linens: €50 per stay
  • Pet deposit: €34 per stay
  • Pet fee: €34 per pet, per stay

    The following fees apply to residence guests:

  • A city tax may be applicable; this charge is not included in the rates and is payable locally.
  • Between 25th August and the 23rd June, guests will be charged weekly for their water and electricity use.
  • A weekly charge for sanitation services is applicable.
  • A cash breakage deposit of 200 EUR is payable at check-in.
  • Towels are not provided free of charge and can be hired locally.
  • Apartments do not receive a daily cleaning/maid service. On departure, all rooms should be left clean and tidy. Alternatively, an end-of-stay cleaning service is provided by the residence, which incurs a fee payable locally.
