Description
The Residence Les Mélèzes is a traditional chalet-style hotel located in the centre of the Risoul resort, which along with Vars makes up the Domaine de la Foret Blanche. The 200 apartments are decorated in traditional Alpine style with simple white decor, all of which open on to balconies. Amenities include kitchenettes with ovens, hobs and refrigerators for self catering.
Guests can attend to all their daily needs in the shops located on the ground floor of the residence including a supermarket and a ski shop, and enjoy a meal in one of the four restaurants and two fast-food outlets. Those arriving by car will find complimentary parking nearby. The property's fitness facilities, open in early 2008, include an indoor pool of 50 square metres, spa tubs, saunas, and a steam bath. In addition, beauty treatments using Phytomer products are offered in the three beauty care areas. Please note that entry fees apply for fitness facilities, as well as extra fees for treatments. The area boasts 57 lifts over 174 kilometres of pistes that cater for all abilities but particularly beginner and intermediate, and the hotel has direct access to th ski lifts with the nearest run in 200 metres away. Guillestre, home to the nearest train stations, is 18 kilometres away, Briancon is 50 kilometres away and the nearest airport is Turin Airport, 160 kilometres away.
