Nice Room

Our hotel room had feather pillows and blankets. That would be fine, but my husband is allergic to them. We could only stay one of the two nights that we were scheduled to stay.

The room was unclean and lacked current maintenance

We checked in and went to the room. A brief inspection told us that we did not want to stay there. It was not properly cleaned and lack current maintenance. We promptly checked out and found another more suitable motel.

Fun in the Sun?!?!

Please note that I booked at this place because it was located right on the beach. However upon arrival our room was FREEZING COLD, we tried to switch it to warm air and it would not do that. I asked for a KING and got a double. Other than that it was alright....

Perfectly adequate

Nothing fancy, but everything you need for a beach stay. Shower needed re-caulking, but it was just mildew-stained, not dirty. The fridge and microwave were a plus, and beach access is great.

Needs Improvement

Very run down and a little dirty. The beach access is GREAT, yet the hotel does not do anything to maintain the beach area where their guests stay...cigarette butts and rusty bottle caps are everywhere. The beaches in front of other hotels in either direction are much cleaner. The beds are small (doubles as opposed to queens) yet the rooms are spacious enough to accommodate queen-size. The baths are small and a little mildewed. The entire hotel is in dire need of new carpeting. The staff is very nice and the location is wonderful.

spend extra $20/night to stay somewhere else

Upon arrival at the hotel, another guest confronted me before i checked in and told me to stay somewhere else. She stated that her room was unsanitary and was going to another hotel. Reluctantly, I checked in. The carpets were stained and the toliet did not work well. The sheets did appear to be clean. We ended up staying for the 3 nights we had reserved, but I would not recommend to others.

The hotel needs alot of improvements. The doors would not close properly, microwave did not work, no wireless computer access in rooms, NOT CLEAN (MOLD IN BATHROOM) I would not stay here again if the room was free.

Not what I expected.

There little flies in our room. The room looked nothing like what I expected. I was really disappointed. The only thing the hotel had going for it was the beach access.

Uncomfortable

Mattresses were terribly uncomfortable. No privacy in room.

Great hotel for the money

Office staff was very nice and efficient. They provided plenty of extra towels. The room was clean and comfortable. It's a beach hotel so I made some allowances for wind, sand and salt damage! I'd love to stay there again.

Great room for the money

Lighting room was dark, needs more lights, room was clean, the hotel is old, but, the room had a nice sit-up. Summer, on the beach, would be great. Everyone one was nice and went out of the way to help you.

Much better places in area
