Description
See more detailsThe Pullman Marseille Provence occupies a low-rise block, built in 1976, and is situated amid three hectares of parkland, 500 metres from Marseille Provence Airport and 25 kilometres from both Marseille and Aix en Provence. The 178 guestrooms over three floors are defined by neutral tones, traditionally styled furnishings and patterned fabrics. All are equipped with high-speed wireless Internet connections, satellite television with pay movies and premium channels, direct-dial phones, clock radios, safes, minibars, coffee/tea- makers and complimentary bottled water. Bathrooms include showers, telephones, robes and complimentary toiletries.
The hotel provides a complimentary 24-hour shuttle service to and from the airport; on arrival guests will find a 24-hour front desk with multilingual staff offering express check-in/out and currency-exchange services. Fitness enthusiasts can tone up on cardio- vascular and resistance equipment in the gym, swim laps in the outdoor pool or enjoy a few sets on the two tennis courts. For relaxation, guests can unwind in the steam room and sauna, or indulge in a massage. In the evenings, guests can enjoy drinks in the Piper Club, an American-style bar with an open fire in winter and a sunny terrace in summer. Le Café de Provence serves Provencal cooking and has a terrace by the outdoor pool while Le Cenadou Restaurant, which also has a shady pool terrace, serves fine French dining and is open for lunch and dinner on weekdays. Complimentary newspapers are provided in the lobby, and those with laptops can stay connected via wireless Internet access. A range of office-support services are available in the business centre, and the hotel's nine meeting rooms are equipped with audio-visual facilities and can accommodate up to 250 people. Other amenities include around-the-clock room service, complimentary secure parking, babysitting services and a pool table. Le Chateau d'If, a 16th-century island fortress, and the Musee Cezanne Aix en Provence are both 20 kilometres from the hotel.
