Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 24Needs Improvement
The room was large enough, but it really needed a deep cleaning. The fan above the bed was so dusty and dirty we were afraid to use it. And the walls had something spilt down them. The bathtub didn't drain very fast at all it filled up with water before your shower was done. The only other big complaint is they closed the pool at 6pm on a saturday night and it never was opened back up on sunday, we left monday.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 24Kinda odd setup
Everything was fine. Wanted to use the pool around 9pm. Pool Closes at 10pm. The gates to the pool were closed and locked with the pool covers on. Talked to the front desk. They opened up the pool area for us. Was a decent place, but have stayed at better places in Park City

Trip Type: With Friends Review 4 of 24very good room for the money
The location was very convenient and close to both the ski areas and restaurants in Park City. We noticed the police patrolled the parking lots at night so we did not worry about parking our vehicle there. It was the first time we had been to Park City and the desk was very helpful when we checked in and answered a lot of questions we had. Would stay there again.

No table to set my computer on. Hot water for the shower was very tempermental. All else was great.

Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 6 of 24Don't Even Think About It
Please do yourself a favor and hit the back button immediately and move onto the next listing. My entire experience with this place was just plain awful and I would never, ever recommend it to anyone. I arrived at what I thought was not late (9:30pm), but the lobby was closed and no one there to help me. I had to call a number and get access to a lock box for my room key. This wasn't a huge deal until I realized my room was a few hundred yards down the street. The building housing my room had no markings on it, so I drove by it probably 5 times before pulling in. Once at the building, I found there was no indication for room numbers (you would think RM 133 would be on the 1st floor - nope), so I walked up each set of stairs and through each floor with all my bags before finding my room at the top. The entire building smelled like a cross between old Chinese food and stale pizza, including the stench in my room. I found random crap all over the bedspread and subsequently slept fully clothed (or whatever you call waking up every 30 minutes thinking I was contracting some nasty disease). The only good part was that it forced me to get up and out as early as possible, so I was the first one on the mountain.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 24Great value for the price
Hotel was clean, comfortable, and affordable. It was conveniently located to the slopes with tons of restaurants in walking distance. Basic amenities, but couldn't ask for more for the price. Only issue during our stay was some noise from room above. You can hear upstairs neighbors walking around, which woke us up in the morning. Overall, though, it was a great bargain.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 8 of 24Great room for the money
This is exactly what you'd expect for one of the cheapest places in Park City. Clean bed, warm water, close to the mountain(s). If you want frills or status or a remodeled place pay an extra 50 to 100 bucks more per night and go somewhere else. If you want a comfortable, clean place with a fridge, shower, and bed this will work great. One note. The hot tub was not working well when we were there and that was a disappointment.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 24Great Deal
We stayed at the Prospector at just the right time: after New Years, and before the Sundance Film Festival. The hotel was comfortable and convenient, and I would definitely go back. The two beefs I have are that the jets in the spa didn't work and there was no "do not disturb" sign in the room (so we were woken up by housekeeping each day).

When we checked in they said that they had upgraded us, however we were to have two queens not one and a sofa bed- That room was extremely dark - They made a quick change and accomodated us. The hot-tub jets did not do much good - The staff was very nice and helpfull. The new room was ok but I would have spent another $40 and stayed at the Marriott down the street.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 11 of 24Great get away
It was a great place to stay. The bed was a little too firm for my liking, but over all the hotel was wonderful and very clean.

Trip Type: Romance Review 12 of 24So much charm!
This hotel was great. The staff was very friendly, the room was clean, the TV was nice, and overall it had a very nice charm to it. My experience was fabulous. The bed was so comfortable, and I loved having my own balcony. I would definitely stay here again!

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 24Not happy...
to start off when we got into our room it smelled horribly bad, there was no screen on the window, so we couldn't keep it open without letting bugs in or the noise of the people camping out (literally) in front of the building (below our window). we expected a tub in the room instead we got a small stand up shower, the A/C made a lot of noise without cooling the room down. the room did include cable which was good if you don't mind watching fuzzy tv. and if you enjoy your caffeine in the morning well you better be able to deal with going to a coffee shop or drinking decaf because that was all they had. Overall I would not recommend this place to anyone!
