Resort-like atmosphere

Beautiful landscaping and very well-kept grounds/buildings. Staff was extremely helpful and kind. Lovely pool-side breakfast service.

Hidden Hideaway

We visited the hotel on their off season, we had the hotel basically to ourselves. The staff treated us like royalty and the resort was beautiful with a wonderful pool side brunch included.

Great Overall Experience

Other than it's slightly inland location away from an adjacent beach, the hotel experience overall was top notch. Very accomodating and responsive staff. Ample rooms that we spotlessly maintained. Easy 10 minute stroll to town center.

Pretty views & nice staff, but....

The room was spacious and had a beautiful view. Very nice and helpful staff. Unfortunatly, my expectations for a hotel that multiple guidebooks and sites declared "2nd best in all of South America" fell a bit short as we were without hot water throughout our stay and didn't have any running water for a portion of our stay. We also had ants in our bed and other little critters but I know that is to be expected in such a tropical setting. All told, I think it is worth the low-season pricing but I don't think I would recommend it for high-season.
