WHEN I BOOKED IT SHOWED THAT HOTEL SERVES THE BREAKFAST BUT FOUND THERE WAS NO BREAKFAST AT ALL rooms ARE GOOD, LOCATION IS CONVENIENT BUT THERE IS NO SERVICE FOR EVERY THING YOU HAVE TO GO TO THE COUNTER BECAUSE OF BAD ECONOMY ONE CAN FIND BETTER DEAL

Would rather have stayed at a resort with sunset views. Our bed was uncomfortable and the floors creaked badly. Also not very good sound insulation. (could hear doors closing and baby crying when trying to sleep). However the room was very clean and furnished nicely, as well as an adequately supplied kitchen with dishes/pans etc.. The grounds and pool were beautiful. Recommend to go to the Farmers market and nearby Olympia Restaurant. Tip. If you go to the orientation continental breakfast you could win an excursion, but you have to be present to win. No matter where you stay in Kauai you will have a nice vacation because it is sooooo beautiful!!!!!!!.

We were delighted with the Pono Kai! It may have been a slow time of year (and not the norm), but we found it very quiet and peaceful, which was just what we were looking for. The beach was perfect and within a few feet. The vision that I had of my visit to Kauai was manifested exactly as I had imagined it. The staff were all very friendly and courteous, attending to any request in a timely manner. We highly recommend a stay there and intend to return on our next visit.

We had a great experience. The staff was helpful and friendly, the rooms were nice, clean and spaciouus, full kitchen with a beautiful garden view and partial ocean view. The grounds were beautiful and well manacured. The pool and hot tub were great. It was conveniently located, within walking distance to resturants, shopping, and the beach. There was no charge to park the rental car. We WILL definitely stay here again!

I stayed in a two bedroon unit, great view of the ocean from the living room and master bedroom. Very large condo, great value, I would stay there again. The pool is very small and not welcoming, but other than that, everything was great.

I was truly surprised at how spacious, well landscaped, beautiful, comfortable, and just plain livable that this suite was. It exceeded everything I had imagined about it. This is definitely a place I will revisit on Kauai.
