Awful

The hotel was disgusting it was advertised as something it is not. You had to wear flip flops in the shower it was so dirty. The so called appliances hardly worked and the dishes were rusty. It was horrible. We left and went to another hotel it was so bad. I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone.

The room itself was clean, thats the only thing this hotel had going for it. The building was in pretty bad shape, the front desk clerk was on her cell phone most of the times we saw her. And she was not very friendly. In addition, our bed had a large spot where the springs appeared to be broken. It was impossible to sleep on. Also, beware if you are under 25 you have to pay a $50 Cash deposit. It was the most unpleasant hotel experience I've ever had, and I've stayed at some pretty cheap places..

This was a dump!!!

This hotel should be demolished. It was very dirty. I didn't even have a shower curtain. The room was not clean, but the covers were pulled up to appear that you had room service. The trash in the hallways and garage was unbelieveable. This hotel should not be listed as an option on hotels.com.

Served its purpose

This hotel is in a great location. perfect for college students that are on a tight budget. Maid service was very polite but never had any towells. They were more than happy to take your dirty ones but never had any clean ones to give back. other than one of the elevators not working a majority of the time and the sketchy parking garage, it served its purpose and that was to have a place to pass out at night. We saw nicer hotels right down the road that were oceanfront advertising the same price so no I would probably not stay there again.

horrible horrible hotel

oh my God this was the worst by far hotel that i ever stayed in. im sorry to have wasted my money.the rooms were filthy. the decor was from the 70's and it smell bad. the carpet was dirty and wet. the bathroom was horrible. my family had to take showers in our flip flops because the tub was gross. the maids only empted the trash and nothing else. we had to beg for clean towels each day. oh by the way they were as hard sand paper.i could go on but you get the picture. please do not stay there you will regret it.

I admit that this was not a bad price for an oceanfront hotel but there were some things that i hated about it. When we first got there our door was hanging off the hinges and we had to wait on maintenance to come fix it. There was little lighting in the hallways and the stairwell looked run down with cigarette buts and squished cockroaches everywhere. It was gross. Our bed was stiff and our balcony door handle was broken.

This hotel is a joke. The hotel looks like crap. Housekeeping doesnt even exist. They would not even bring towels or clean sheets. they did nothing to the rooms but change the trash two times. the floor are nasty looking. the sinks and tubs are disgusting and I seen a cockroach/

needs improvemts but great for price!

Room smelled so bad of smoke. but when a repair was needed on the door the maintence guy was there right away to fix it. price was great though. i'd definitely stay there again till i get out of college and make better money =-]

Improvement

For me i believe that a little more work needs to be done. For example the halways are Nasty, our bathroom sink looked like it was about to fall off the wall, and the parking deck needs repaved. I would also suggest finding a new place for that trash ben, walking to your car from the beach or you room you can smell it badly.The beds where comfy pretty much, and when you get a room ask for it to be away from the stair way and parking garage doors. If i return to Myrtle Beach i would stay here again just next time ask for a room above the third floor.

Needs Improvement

The beds were okay, but the door to the patio was very hard to open and close. The bathroom was kind of rough. It wasn't bad for the money, but the time of year that we went we could have stayed at a lot nicer hotel for just a few bucks more. We were there the last weekend of May. Wasn't terrible for the money, but it really needs some work.
