Great Hotel & Location for the money

Very clean rooms. Good people behind desk to help! Roof restaurant has great sights and real good food.

Worst Hotel in Europe!

The staff were absolutely rude! I had never been so discriminated against in my life. We were blatantly ignored by the front desk attendants on numerous occasions and were often forced to wait while they assisted other European visitors who had gotten there AFTER us!! We were even singled out and asked for our room number during breakfast while all other European guests were left to enjoy their breakfast in peace. The room was incredibly small and the bathroom even smaller. As a petite female (5'0, 105 lbs), even I was unable to avoid hitting my elbows against the shower walls. Yes, it was THAT small! I highly urge all Americans to stay away from this hotel and take your money to one that will appreciate it!

Expensive but Nice

The Polis Grand was as expected for the price we paid. It is convienently located near Omonia Square, which made taking the metro to the airport or the central area easy. However, everything was touristy in the area, and the prices at the hotel were steep, even for the cafe below. Room was clean and nice though, all in all, not bad but nothing spectacular

Outstanding Hotel

The staff was very courteous and helpful. The room was clean and quiet. The rooftop restaurant was excellent. The location was close to the subway but a long walk to the tourist areas.
