Nickel, dime, and dollar you to the poor house

This hotel is certainly showing its age. Also, everything seems to have a cost--once inside. The restuarant was extremely overpriced for meals--especially in feeding a family, which this hotel ties to market to. Best bet--pay more for a different hotel--newer hotel and then go out to eat--money spent will be the same and the experience well be well worth it.

Good hotel, but left some to be desired

It would have been nice if they had told us the lazy river was going to be closed for the month of October. We went there for our anniversary with the idea of just lazing around without the kids. The lazy river and sports pool were closed. We then tried to play the miniature golf, but had to keep going around blocked off areas. At check in, the desk clerk was not very welcoming. Then, when we asked for extra towels, he acted like we were an inconvenience. The room itself was very nice and comfortable.

Casita Disappointment

Rented one of the Casita's for a 1 night stay. Got there and it was NOTHING like what the pictures showed. It was small, the kitchen had a microwave, sink and frig but, nothing else. There was no kitchen stuff. No linens, soap, nothing. Just a few paper plates and plastic utencils in a drawer. We had to go out and buy paper towels and a sponge just to clean up the counters. The room had no DVD player, the cable was nothing more than local channels. I had a room of teenagers with absolutely nothing to do at night. The pictures showed a huge balcony on the 2nd floor, that balcony was big enough for two people to stand on and not move. Very, Very small. Not a good value for the money at all. The only enjoyment we got was at the lazy river and pool the next day but, even that got boring after a couple hours. They need more.

outstanding hotel

Everything about the hotel was great,except for the service in the Hole in the Wall restaurant. That was about as bad as I have ever experienced.

Nice Room

Rooms were clean and well kept with modern upgrades. Probably the nicest hotel we have ever stayed at. Nice that there are restaurants on site.

Great hotel

We were very happy with our room. The staff was very friendly and our room was spotless. The pools and the water park made our stay even more enjoyable!

Great place to beat the "HEAT"

We live in Phoenix and this is our favorite place to cool down in the summer. It is beautiful and the water park is great for all ages.

Not mind-blowing, but would stay again.

Nice hotel, layout a little weird, not the best food I ever had, but ok. Staff was excellent and hotel in great location. Waterpark was awesome!

BEAUTIFUL HOTEL INSIDE AND OUT... IF YOU HAVE A STAY FOR MORE THAN TWO DAYS, IT IS WELL WORTH IT TO ENJOY THE ROOM AND ITS SURROUNDINGS. VERY COMFORTABLE.!

Hilton Squaw Peak Outstanding Staff

We had a great stay. As a Marriott Platinum I was overly impressed with the staff. When the ice machine was empty, they arrived in minutes with a large bag of ice, when I had trouble in the business center with the fax, they took me to the office and faxed my papers at no charge. The staff was just outstanding. When it came time to check out the bellman was there in minutes and extremely helpful. I would so recommend this stay in Arizona. The water park was perfect, the pool staff was there every minute for any need, everything was immaculate. Kudos!!!!
