Pierre & Vacances Residence Quartz La Plagne

Location.The Pierre & Vacances Residence Les Nereides is located in the French Alps in the resort of La Plagne, part of the Grande Plagne ski area. The modern residence, clad in wood with lauze stone roof tiles, sits in the centre of Belle Plagne, 150 metres from the ski lifts. Chambery Aix-Les-Bains Airport is 110 kilometres from the hotel, a 120-minute drive.

Hotel Features.The residence offers ski-in, ski-out access, and after a day on the slopes guests can enter the heated ski room, which contains one locker per apartment. Although the resort is car-free, the residence does operate a car park which guests can use for a weekly surcharge. The residence also features a children's area, while adults can indulge themselves at the nearby wellness centre, which is linked to the residence (fees apply).

Residence Les Nereides is surrounded by 225 kilometres of varied ski slopes, including 10 black runs, as well as off-piste and cross-country skiing. Ski schools can be found 300 metres from the hotel, and a number of après-ski options are available in the resort centre.

Apartments.The property features 80 apartments, spread over eight floors, which open onto balconies or terraces offering views of the surrounding mountains. All include televisions and telephones (surcharge), and kitchenettes with hot plates, microwaves, refrigerators, dishwashers, and coffee makers. Bathrooms have handheld showers.

Expert Tip. The resort is linked to the Bellecot glacier which, in addition to the winter activities listed above, offers travellers further choices such as hiking, cycling, parasailing, kayak, rafting and summer skiing.
