    for the price, hotel was great. but, i was traveling for business, which was at the palais - so it was a bit inconvenient. that is the only reason i would not recommned (i would not be traveling to cannes from the states for pleasure). hotel staff was very friendly and laid back. hotel grounds were very nice. room was big enough and clean enough - but somewhat dated. beds were really small. again - staff was very friendly.

The Residence Cannes Francia consists of large Italian-style houses in the heart of a Mediterranean-style park, with a beautiful panoramic view over the Bay of Cannes, the Lerins islands and the red rocks of the Esterel mountains. On site, guests will enjoy a private swimming pool overlooking the sea, a bar and restaurant opening onto the swimming pool terrace, two tennis courts, and seasonal children's clubs (fees apply). Other amenities for guests' convenience include coin-operated laundry, dry cleaning service, a mini-market, shuttle bus service, and fax and photocopy services. Pets are allowed for a fee of 7 Euros per pet, per night or 46 Euros per pet, per week and presentation of a rabies vaccination certificate. Each comfortable unit features a kitchenette equipped with four hot plates, refrigerator, mini-oven, dishwasher, and electric coffeemaker.
