Trip Type: Not Provided Review 1 of 23Not what I expected
There was a shared balcony with only 2 chairs. There was mold and un defrosted ice in the refrigerator. The bed frame kept seperating from the box spring. The hot water was scalding in the bathroom.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 23We'll stay here again!
We have no complaints about this hotel. The staff was great. We loved the private beach, and the pool was nice. It was a quiet location a couple of minutes from the boardwalk.

Trip Type: Business Review 3 of 23Outdated and Uncomfortable
This hotel was outdated and the rooms were small and beds were very uncomfortable. Had to share a balcony with the room next door and that was very inconvenient.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 23Has Potential
The staff was great but the rooms need a lot of improvement. This hotel has a lot of potential to become a higher rating hotel if they just invest in the rooms. New beds, fridge and tv's. But for the money you can't go wrong.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 23Great Deal
For the price and location you can't beat Pier 6600 and they had live music by the pool the whole time we were there.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 6 of 23I didn't like the "shared balcony"!
The room was very small and very old - from the 1970's. Primarily, I didn't like the shared balcony. It was a very small balcony which was shared by another room. There was no privacy as people from the adjacent room were outside my room (on the balcony) talking all night. The feeling was they may as well be in the room! However, the hotel had a very nice pool and poolside bar.

Trip Type: Romance Review 7 of 23Needs Improvements!
The Pier 6600 Hotel was the only thing I could find last minute but was not worth the money. The rooms were quite expensive for the area available. The shared balconies was inconvenient. There was also no information within the room on any eateries or things to do. The television was not up to date. The only good thing about the hotel is the Barefoot Bag & Grille, which was really a hit with my boyfriend and I. I would not recommend this hotel. The building is in need of some repairs and the rooms were too small.

Trip Type: Family Review 9 of 23Needs to upgrade the room
This room was adouble bed room. There was no coffee maker, clock radio, closet. It looked like a closet inside. The outside of the hotel was really nice. They need to renovated the rooms and make them more modern.I paid over $ 100 per night and stayed 2 full nights they didn't even have room service. This hotel really need to upgrade on the inside bathroom and room to included.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 10 of 23Great Room for the money
I know there are alot of negative reviews about this hotel but for what I paid for I got. The hotel is older than most on the strip and is outdated. It didnt bother anyone in my pary of 5. We enjoyed the pool and liked the balcony that came with our efficiency suite. The staff was nice and very informative. Overall we enjoyed our stay at the 6600 motel.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 11 of 23" THE WORSE HOTEL EVER"
my experience at Pier 6600 was horrible. The room smell so bad. The hotel is located so far from the boardwalk. There was a big construction next to the hotel they make too much noise.

Trip Type: Family Review 12 of 23Not worth it
The room had a terrible odor, the door frames were ravaged with rust, and the hot water in the shower ran out after just two showers, (there were four of us). There is ongoing contruction right outside our room, we were awoken every morning to foul language using construction workers. We came back from the boardwalk one night only to find that there was no parking at the hotel, we had to park on the street two blocks away. The best thing about this hotel was that it was located right on the beach.

Location was great, but the hotel was outdated & dingy. Room was small and had a musty smell.

Trip Type: Family Review 14 of 23Do not Stay
I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. The room was big enough for 2 double beds. The pink blankets had to be 20+ years old. I ran to Wal-mart and spent $45.00 on blankets and cleaning supplies. The bath room had dead bugs, the extra blanket rack was rusty, rusty door frames, musty smell...I could keep going but you get the point. I would not allow my child to walk around without shoes it was that nasty. Their web site makes them look like the cadillac of all hotels, when they really are the Yugo of all Hotels. I do not recommend this hotel to anyone. PS. Had to share our ocean view balcony with another room...romantic

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 15 of 23Big Mistake....
After driving for 12 hours, we arrived to find that our hotel is next door to one that is under construction!!! Our room was horrific! It was located on the first floor beside the exit door so all night we heard people going in and out and slamming the exit door. The room was big enough for 2 double beds, 2ft b/n them and 3ft at end of bed to wall. We shared a balcony with the guest room beside us. The airconditioner was broken and would not go over 58. There were stains all over the ceiling and rust on over the door. The girl at the desk said that was all they had but we had to sleep so the next morning we were going to check out and just go back home but the manager saw how exhausted I looked and came over and asked what was wrong and after I told him-he apologized and "upgraded" our room to a suite. Which was better and we decided to stay for the duration of our vacation but we will never go back to this hotel again!
