Trip Type: With Friends Review 3 of 99rude, rooms are small
A friend and i went to stay and because we were younger the front desk attendants were really rude and the rooms are tiny you do not get what you pay for.

Can't beat the location in DC. Rooms were incredibly comfortable and the service was above average.

Trip Type: Family Review 5 of 99Small Room
A very nice hotel that has been remodeled but the room was so small, I got claustrophobic. Normally on a trip we will sight see during the day, then go back to the hotel before dinner to relax. Not this time, I couldn't stand just hanging out in the tiny room. The staff was nice and the location is great since it is so close to Union Station. We were over the hotel entrance side, not the restaurant side so it was quiet enough - only the usual big city noises. The queen sized bed filled the room and the large desk had every square inch of it covered - ice bucket and glasses, lamp, books. The closet was too small for my piece of luggage. It was a very nice hotel but the size of the room really bothered me.

Trip Type: Not Provided Review 9 of 99Room was too small for two people.
Bed was comfortable but there was not enough room for 2 people to move about in the room. What was most disappointing was that there was no concierge. When we asked for a recommendation of a tour that would show us the major sites and get us oriented on our first night we were referred to and booked w/ a tour company that was more expensive than others we found later that had the "hop on/ hop off" feature. The tour they put us on was for the one night only, the guide spoke such poor English he was hard to understand and talked into the microphone so closely that we could not understand most of what he said and the bus and windows on the bus were dirty, the seat backs were so high you could not see most of what he pointed out. Very disappointing. Also poor service in the Irish restaurant on the bottom floor of the hotel.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 11 of 99Charming, Stylish Hotel.
I got such a great rate that I didn't have very high expectations of the hotel - I was totally wrong to have any worries. The staff was very friendly, the location was terrific for train-travelers, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the room was perfectly clean with complimentary wireless internet service. The bath towels were the size of beach towels and the toiletries were of high quality. The only complaint I could make about the hotel was the bathroom scale - it was frighteningly accurate!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 99needs a lot of improvement
There was no A/C in the hallway, the ice machine did not work, the shower leaked into the room so there was a huge amount of water on the carpet. Management obviously knew about the leak because when I arrived in the room, the window was open, A/C off, & the carpet smelled & looked like it had been cleaned. Would not stay here again.

The outdated air conditioning system will not keep the rooms cool. Do not stay at this hotel between April and October.

Trip Type: Family Review 15 of 99Great Room, Convenient Location
The room was clean and nicely furnished. The beds were extremely comfortable and the flat screen TV was nice. The Wi-Fi worked great and the hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. The Irish Pub downstairs looked authentic and the food was good. Union Station is a block away and is very convenient for getting around the city. Overall, it's a great hotel and will be my first choice when I return. I highly recommend it.
