Trip Type: Romance Review 1 of 22Clean hotel in middle of Old Town
Great spot as the headquarters to view Barcelona. Centrally located in the "Old Town", closed to Las Ramblas, yet quiet and clean. Only issue was the bed. We prefer a little less firm mattress, but the overall the room was clean, efficient and good to come to after walking around the city.

Trip Type: Family Review 2 of 22one of the worst
I travel extensively, 3 to 4 months a year. This hotel was one of the worst I have ever stayed in. They claimed to have WIFI but it was not in existence for our 6 day stay. The room was filthy. The room was so small, the best in the house, that I hit my head on the oversized hanging light that was in the path to the bathroom several times. The web pictures show large rooms but the rooms are very small and wornout. The staff did nothing to help. It is a 2 star at best and not the 4 star they claim. Beds so hard it put my arm to sleep. Filthy dark common areas on the guest floors. No air-conditioning even with 75 degree heat outside. No English speaking TV. BEWARE

Trip Type: Family Review 3 of 22Nice Hotel
Location was great. Staff were very polite and helpful. Price was a little high for the accomodations. Room was clean, quiet, and fit myself , my wife and two teenagers (although a little snug). Would stay there again.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 22Great Location
The Petit Palace Opera Garden is in a great location for touring Barcelona. Down a small alley from Las Ramblas, you are steps away from the hustle and bustle of humanity. Our children enjoyed strolling up and down the street and seeing all the characters on the street. My son loved the laptop in the room with un limited internet access. The hotel had old world charm with all the modern conveniences.

Trip Type: Family Review 6 of 22Not what I expected
The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The shower was poorly designed. The water ran out of the shower area. It was impossible to shower without having all the water run all over the bathroom.

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 10 of 22Location is the best feature
We only stayed here one night post-cruise. The staff was very nice. They stored our luggage for us until time for check-in and then arranged the cab to the airport for the next morning. Our toilet would not flush and two hours after telling the front desk, we had to call again to remind them. Then they sent a repairman right away. I am not sure why this hotel is a 4-star. I thought it seemed rather ordinary. The outside terrace was nice. I really did not like the black painted walls in the hallways plus the lights in the halls only came on with movement. Kind of creepy!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 12 of 22Fun in Barcelona
From the moment we walked into this lovely little hotel in Barcelona...we were enchanted. The staff were so friendly and helpful. We walked to the Bouqueria market and bought fruit, cheese, bread and meat for our picnic. The staff brought us glasses for our wine and we sat outside in the courtyard and had a picnic with the resident gatos. When we opened the window in our room, we could hear the Opera singers rehersing across the street. It was enchanting. The staff gave us recommendations for dinner and we walked to the Taller Cafe for tapas. We will never forget our stay at Le Petit Opera Garden Hotel and Barcelona!

Trip Type: Family Review 13 of 22Fabulous Location
Just steps off the Rambla, the Petit Palace Opera Garden is an upscale hotel in a near-perfect location, less than 2 blocks from the Mercat St. Josep La Boqueria and an easy walk to the Plaça Catalunya. The hotel itself is very modern, and our room was very spacious with a large bath (jacuzzi tub) and a foyer with storage which made it simple to deal with all the luggage we had. There was a laptop in the room and complimentary internet access. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 15 of 22cool, spacious boutique hotel in Las Ramblas area
small room, but could still accomodate 4 people for a decent rate - hard to find in Europe. great design, decor. clean. only issue was shower i nour room specifically was not functionally designed. The entire bathroom got wet everytime we showered because there was no door. other than that, a great hotel.
