Trip Type: Business Review 2 of 32nice hotel & location, loud bar band
My room was directly over the hotel lounge and I couldn't sleep until the band stopped playing around 2am. Otherwise, the place was nice, had a great breakfast buffet, and was close to where I needed to be.

Trip Type: Family Review 4 of 32Good Hotel but never received maid service
Much was good. Happy hour, breakfast, snacks. Only complaints: For some reason the maids skipped our room. TV was flaky. However it was a nice hotel in a good location and I would go there again.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 7 of 32Pear Tree Inn Union Station
This hotel was nice to stay in and was not noisey. It is down the street from Union Station which was walking distance. It was in a good location just on the other side of the city but still had a good view to the arch. At breakfast there was a wide variety of different choices from cereal, to eggs, or waffles, ect. I would stay there again if I travel to St. Louis.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 8 of 32great hotel - lousy housekeeping
The hotel was everything it was billed to be. the price was great. it has a free pepsie machine and free popcorn in its lounge. however , the housekeeping of our room needed improvement. we found an old salad in a styrofoam box on top of our mini-rerigerator. by the smell of it, it had been there awhile. The mini-refrigerator is enclosed in a cabinet. But it was obvious, no one had opened the cabinet to check the refrigerator. We also found the plastic top of a drink behind the night table.

Trip Type: Business Review 11 of 32As Advertised
Everything about the advertisement of the hotel was exactly correct. We had a perfect stay. The hopitality was right on the mark. The location was perfect for my business trip to downtown St. Louis. Very easy to navigate to, from any of the hiways in the area.

Trip Type: Business Review 12 of 32Beds need Upgrading
This was a great location, and a good value for the rate I paid. Nice breakfast. The bed was very firm, and I tossed and turned quite a bit trying to stay comfortable. Still, I'd stay there again. Upon check-in,the front-desk people were VERY professional and delightful. Both elevators needed some carpet cleaning.

Trip Type: Romance Review 14 of 32Great amenities, but uncomfortable bed
When we first arrived at the hotel, we were pleased with the amenities (free hot breakfast, free wireless internet). The room was clean and the employess were courteous. Everything was great until bedtime. My wife and I could not get comfortable. The mattress was worn out and there was little support. The room were not insulated well for sound. You could hear every closed door down the hall from the room, and you could hear whenever out neighbors used the sink or shower. Overall, the amenities are great, but don't expect much sleep on a busy evening.
