Problems

The hotel was sold a couple of years ago to be turned into a condo/hotel and started renovation. When the market fell out, they went back to being just a hotel and stopped remodeling. It shows. The bathroom has a painted white piece of plywood over it, and plaster where the faucets use to be. The closets and drawers are painted white particle board, mini bar is someone's shop project. If you get a room cheap enough, then who cares, but if you pay more, you would expect more. Gym is nice and the coffee stand staff couldn't be more friendly.

Great Pool, Great View, Great Location

Very nice staff, awesome pool - indoor and outdoor, Great location at Mountain Village. Uber Comfortable beds. Beautiful view. I'd stay here again.

Construction zone

This was to be the one night on our vacation that we really splurged. It turned out the resort was under renovation and we awoke to the sound of heavy machinary. The service was marginal with some staff members barely speaking English. There was no concierge to provide information about the area. I ate in the Legends restaurant in the hotel, and my grilled fish was over-cooked and dry. There were no signs showing where rooms or spa services were located, so we had to wander around to find things. At home, I use a fitness center regularly, so I should know what to expect. In their spa, the Roman bath and steam room were so hot that neither my wife nor I could use them. My wife was left unattended in a hot soak for 20 minutes and was sick afterward. My vehicle was locked away in a valet lot under the building, so if we needed to get anything, we had to get a valet to take us to it, which was incovenient. We did have a private balcony with a good view, but other than that it was a very disappointing stay.

Comfortable room with reasonable price

Still under renovation. Shower stall needed maintenance. Great location near gondola. Unexpected required daily valet parking fee and taxes.

Very nice spa and the rooms are comforting. Great customer service.

Under Rennovation

Property is fantastic. Views are magnificent. However, we weren't notified ahead of time that rooms are in the process of being remodeled. Our bathtub had a permanent cover over it and could not be used. Decor is very outdated. Stains on carpet. Very spacious room with incredibly comfortable bedding. Would definitely return after rooms are completely remodeled.

Nice place, good deals

The hotel is in a great setting with some of the most incredible views of the beautiful region. The hotel was updated recently, but not updated to top-of-the-line standards (bath tub was just eliminated instead of replaced), but nice shower was in place. biggest gripe was that there were no ice machines so we had to call for room service any time we wanted ice in the room. the rates in the late summer and early fall are good. Spa is nice, but expensive.

"way over priced"

Great location and nice gondola but was not impressed with the hotel.Not worth the money for the room we got, spent way to much money on parking, food, tiping everyone and so on. I've stayed at best westerns that were friendier and nicer with a free breakfast. Will we return the answer is NO....

Four-leggers

Dog friendly! This hotel jumped up a couple of notches in my book for that reason alone. Friendly staff and nice area. Rooms had a lovely view. Overall- a great stay.
