Trip Type: Rest and Recreation Review 1 of 47Perfect location
Paso Robles Inn has beautiful grounds (complete with a pool, hot tub and gardens) for those of us in rooms without our own hot tubs. The location is perfect. The main square has everything you could possibly need - stores to browse, wineries to sample and wonderful restaurants to taste. The basic rooms have comfy beds, big bathrooms with tubs and a kitchenette (to store any wine that you bring back from the Paso Robles wine country.

Trip Type: Romance Review 2 of 47Pasa Robles Inn - Out
I don't understand why anyone would rave about this place. We were greeted by the front desk person that had an attitude. I asked if there was a queen bed with the fireplace and we were placed in the oldest part of the hotel and right next to a noisy couple. The Inn was only 50% full at best... Why put us right next to someone?? The wall are thin and the neighbors were noisy late and then up early. The room itself was small and showing age. The carpet had stains. The fireplace was a closed glass, gas unit that got extremely hot and didn't open at all. The Inn was right downtown but most placed closed at 6pm. Save your money and look for a nice lacation with better service.

we were upgraded to a suite with a jacuzzi on the patio. twice we were offered immediate assistance by the staff. I've neve had someone offer to hook up the internet. This hotel was tne venue for our wedding reception and the staff could not have been more kind, generous and accommodating! We were upgraded to a spa room above the ballroom in one of the two Bride & Groom Rooms. The bathroom was HUGE and it was a great space for us girls to get ready for pictures in the beautiful gardens on the hotel grounds. The room was beautiful, the pictures turned out great, the Sunday Brunch was amazing (tons of seafood, omelets-to-order and prime rib with free Mimosas). The balcony spa tub did not have hot water on our wedding night but it was too cold and windy anyway, and when I called the next morning, they sent someone right up and it was repaired for our enjoyment within 15 minutes. We plan on staying there every year on our anniversary!

Trip Type: With Friends Review 13 of 47Great little hotel in heart of downtown Paso
My only complaint is that the lobby is smelly. It just smells really old and unpleasant. The other buildings and grounds appear to be well kept. Our room was a little small, but for 2 people was suited our wine-tasting purposes just fine. We had a room with a smally balcony overlooking a pond which was lovely during the day and evening. A very nice security guard explained some of the history of the hotel to us. Sometimes people from the east coast think California has no history because it's young in comparison. The Paso Robles Inn provides an intersting look into the history of California and its central coast. Staff was friendly.

Trip Type: Romance Review 15 of 47Great Location
The Paso Robles Inn is an older (but well maintained) hotel just off the square in downtown Paso Robles. I like staying there as their staff is very courteous and I love the location. On this visit I noticed the bed was very firm...too firm (hard and not comfortable). This is the first time I noticed this, so it may have just been the particular room. I always stay in a spa room, well worth it if you don't mind the sulfur smell. I will be staying here again in the future!
