Convenient Hotel

The room was small, yet that is pretty typical of European hotel rooms. We were across the street from the central train station and within walking distance to food and local bars in the red light district.

Excellent Hotel in Amsterdam!

The location is great, literally across the street from Central Station! The hotel is suprisingly quiet and we even stayed over the weekend! Nice large room, very clean, wasn't too hot/cold, nice minibar selection. Staff was very nice and friendly! We will stay here again.

Good Hotel

Hard to beat the location being right outside Centraal Station. The hotel and room was clean and the staff friendly. I was worried that there would be too much noise being located on such a busy corner but I did not have any issues, though my room faced the interior courtyard. My only complaint was my room was a bit too warm and the windows didn't open. I plan on staying there again.

nice hotel

I have enjoyed this hotel until this time when they put us in a room where we had to carry our bags up and down stairs. We were not told of this before we were given this room. The view was horrible and there was a man standing outside our windown listening to everything we were saying. We had the window open because it was warm and not thinking anyone could be outside. If I hadn't had a nice room with a nice view in the past I would never stay there again.

Location is prime

You can't beat the location of this place. The price may reflect the fact that it is across the street from the train station, but it's worth it for sure.

Excellent Accomodations

Excellent location, clean with very helpful staff. Only concern was the breakfast. Our confirmation lead us to believe it was included with room but we were charged for 2 of the 3 meals at check out. if no credit is issued this is a very pricey breakfast.

Great Hotel, a little expensive

The hotel is in a great location, right on the corner. We even had a room facing Central Station. The hotel and room were very nice but it was a little expensive. Granted this was our first stay in Amsterdam and it was the weekend so it could have been par for the course. I would stay here again.

Victoria is great spot

Very conveniant location just across from Centraal station and city center,walk to all the Dam has to offer which is plenty

Rooms Are In Need of Update in Garden Tower

The concierge and front desk service were lovely but our room was in dire need of an update. We have paid a lot less to stay in much nicer rooms. The location of the hotel is very convenient but for the money there are several other nicer hotels nearby. Those with small children be warned, I was shocked to find free channels with pornography on them at all hours of the day. Not really appropriate for families I didn't think.

Nice Hotel in a great location for tourists

The room was decent. An older hotel with a very cool facade and nice lobby & hotel bar & restaurant right across from the Central train station and in the heart of all the tourism action in Amsterdam. Very central to all the things one would want to see in Amsterdam with all the public transportation hubs just across the street. It wouldn't hurt to open the windows and air out the place a bit though. Smells a little musty in the hallways. The staff were very courteous & the concierge staff really exceeded all my expectations. Really great people. I'd stay there again.

Excellant resort

They spent literally hours helping me find assets and report lost cards after having my wallet stolen on the tram. They even lent me money to go downtime to pick up a wire. -mike

Great for the money & location to the train station

This was a great location to the train station and other attractions in the city. Large room & very update.

Location was excellent but Customer Service Horrible.

I did not like the customer service provided by the hotel staff. The hotel does not have airport pick up and drop off service. The hotel does not have anyone that helps you with luggage. My room that i was provided did not have air conditioner working in it. The solution they came up with was provide me with desk fan which possibly cant cool a room in any way. I will not stay at this hotel again. I recommend you not to stay there as well.
