    This was the third time that I've stayed in the Park Plaza Orchid in Tel Aviv. The renovation is just about complete and has been nicely done. The single rooms are small, but well appointed and very comfortable. One of the nicest hotel beds that I've slept on. Fast, free wi-fi is a big plus for me. Mainly, though, I love the location. Right on the beach, 15 minute walk to Shuk HaKarmel and Sheinkin Street...you just can't beat it. Very nice and helpful staff also make for a nice stay. The lobby bar is pleasant and has some nice food items which are not overpriced for a beachfront hotel. I much prefer the Cafe Masada right next door though for breakfast. The hotel breakfast is just too expensive for me. I just can't eat $20 of breakfast food, even though it's pretty good. We will continue to go back to this hotel...it's the best bargain on the Tel Aviv beach.

Location. The beachside Park Plaza Orchid Tel Aviv hotel is located on Beach Promenade in Tel Aviv, Israel. The Eretz Israel Museum and the Old Town are five kilometres away.

Hotel Features. The Park Plaza Orchid is a modern high-rise building with sea and city views. Concierge staff can provide sightseeing advice and exchange currencies. Parking (surcharge) is available, and complimentary bicycle rental is on site.

A traditional Israeli breakfast is served in the mezzanine area, with panoramic sea views. Drinks, coffees and light meals are on offer all day and late into the night in the Lobby Bar.

Small groups can be accommodated in the hotel's modern meeting rooms. There's a 24-hour business centre with computer stations and complimentary wireless Internet access throughout the hotel. The hotel has an outdoor pool and a sundeck. The well-equipped health club has a sauna and exercise machines. Yoga and aerobics classes are available, and massages are on offer in the beauty room.

Guestrooms. The Park Plaza Orchid Tel Aviv's 182 air-conditioned guestrooms are decorated in a bright contemporary style with pale wood furniture. Rooms offer satellite television with LCD screens, minibars, safes and tea/coffee making facilities.

Expert Tip. There's excellent shopping and fine dining all along Tel Aviv's Beach Promenade, where the hotel is located.
