Description
See more detailsLocation. The design-savvy Park Hotel Tokyo is connected via underground and overhead walkways to Shidome Station and the surrounding Media City buildings located in Tokyo, Japan. This hotel is part of the Shidome Media Tower, and is located one kilometer from the Ginza shopping district and Tsukiji fish market.
Hotel Features. Gastronomie française and tateru yoshino restaurant serves French cuisine in a fine-dining atmosphere with panoramic city views. The bar features a vast wine selection and New York-style cocktails. Small, distinct courses served at timed intervals, called Kaiseki, are served at the Japanese Hanasanshou restaurant. Lunch specialties include Shokado/bento boxes. A family in Kyoto that has been farming for 400 years supplies the vegetables for this restaurant. A small business center offers computer stations, city views and basic business services. The garden-like lobby lounge serves as workspace for guests with their own laptops, projects film clips on select days, and serves as a venue for live music. The hotel's Institut de Phyto-Aromathérapie salon offers personalized aromatherapy massages and treatments using 30 different essential-oil products.
Guestrooms. All 273 guestrooms carry the hotel's modern/Euro look with Italian-designed furnishings, Roman-style blinds and handmade artwork by French artist Monique Le Houelleur. A complimentary pillow- fitting service helps guests find an option that will best suit their needs, including one especially designed for women's necks. Tables and chairs are provided in each guestroom, as are electric tea kettles and minibars that include champagne. Nightwear is provided in a pale green shade, and compact, tiled bathrooms include a selection of complimentary toiletries. CD and DVD players and fax machines are complimentary upon request. Trouser presses can also be requested.
Expert Tip. The connecting Shidome Media City houses more than 100 dining options, gift/clothing stores, and a grocery store, in addition to Nippon's headquarters.
