Somewhat disappointed

It was our 7th anniversary and we wanted to stay here because it was where we spent our honeymoon. The room was great- clean, nice amenities, everything about the room was nicer than before. However, we were very disappointed in the food quality and choices. The tables for 2, for couples who do not want to eat with a group, were so close together there was no point. They should offer pricing without meals included. Was also disappointed that there was nothing special offered to us for our anniversary, considering it was where we spent our honeymoon. They offered us "gifts" that I know are offered to everyone but made it sound like it was special for our occasion. Not true and annoyed me.

disappointing for money

We stayed one night and that was enough for us. We stayed at dianas oaisis the one positive was the personal indoor pool. The heart shaped jacuzzi was nice. The showed had two showed heads, but you couldn't adjust them to be comfortable with two people. A couple of hours after we checked on the front desk called to ask if everything was okay. The purpose of this hotel was for a romantic getaway, I don't know why they would be disturbing their guests. We tried to play tennis, but the courts were horrible. They had two entrances but only one paved walkway to the court. The not so newly we'd game was very funny, but the stand up comic that followed was horrible. The food was disappointing, and sitting at a table with complete strangers was ackward. Again a romantic getaway and forced to sit with people you don' t know. Also the remote control for the television didn't work for the DVd player. The staff was nice and friendly. The hotel is in the middlle of no where with no physical address, so the gps couldn't find the hotel, and they had no signs to let you know you were heading on the right direction. Hotel has a lot of land and probably would be better in winter, we were just disappointed for the money we payed.

Great resort for a romantic getaway!

Great location and getaway. Easy to get to from New York City area.

About time for Upgrading

We were supposed to stay at Paradise Stream, but were told that someone had 'smoked out' the room with a fire log and they couldn't check us in. They offerred us another one of their lesser rooms, but after viewing them, we declined and asked to stay at another resort. So we stayed at Brookdale. Room was outdated, dinner was terrible and the service was awful.

do not stay here!!!

Hotel was very dirty and falling apart. Sink was clogged shower was dirty room was very dusty and dirty. Hotel staff was very rude. DO NOT STAY HERE!!!
