Gardners on Monday!!

I loved the hotel and the pool area was clean and spacious BUT....We wanted to just hang out by the pool on the Monday, as it was my birthday, and just read, swim and relax. The weather was gorgeous... FOR SIX HOURS the gardners trimmed down a big tree with a CHAINSAW and then the leaf blower came around...Admitted it was off season and not many people around..We did laugh it off but it was very noisy... Thanks JJ

Great deal, especially for the money

The hotel was very clean for the price I paid for the room. Im a big germ freak! And I was quite comfortable in the room. Convenient location, right near the down town scene... although the Ramada across the street had an outdoor rave thing going on. Good thing I'm a heavy sleeper, if I weren't I don't think I would have slept very well. We could hear the base from our room. Overall worth it.

great place

the place was clean and great local. the rooms were a bit dated and the towels could be better, but i would go back in a second. great place great price.

needs improvement

The air conditioner on the wall was noisy and did not get cold enough which was a problem since it was 95 degreees outside. The bathtub shower water came out way too forceful with no way to adjust, temp kept changing, and the tub wouldn't drain so it was filling up past my ankles. Would not stay here again no matter how cheap the rate!

OUTSTANDING HOTEL

My husband and I enjoyed our stay, very comfortable and cozy.

Very reasonable stay

Great room and a very reasonable price. Location is very close to nearby restaurants and stores. The only issue we had was that a nearby club/restaurant was playing very loud music until 2 or 3am. If you're looking for an extremely quiet room on a Saturday night, you may want to consider some other locations... or at least ask the staff for a quieter room.

Good value & clean

A clean hotel, pool and jacuzzi. We had to ask about the free coupon for breakfast at next door cafe, as it wasn't offered at check-in. The coupon gets you an excellent tasting coffee, with free refills, fresh orange juice and danish. Or you could take $1 off a menu item. Who would do that when you can buy extra menu items and still have the coffee, juice and danish too! Coffee alone is over $2 a mug. The room was spacious, bathroom tiny, but adequate. The room contained a fridge, microwave, ice bucket, iron, ironing board. No coffee maker, hairdryer. The bed side lamps did not work, but was had sufficient lighting through the patio doors. The hotel has two levels and we were happy to be on the first floor. The ground level patio doors open directly onto the car park. Some rooms have pool views. We felt safe here, the hotel is great for a budget stay and I would consider staying here again, with a pool view.

Old and stuffy

no generell airconditioning, rooms could do with refurbishing. On positive side - Pool area is ok and free wifi

Near convenience store, great pool. Went there in summer. Room was big.

Affordable room with nice features

The room itself was a nice size. The little patio area was a nice plus. The pool was wonderful and nicely kept. The staff was pleasant and helpful. The bed was a bit hard, so if you are into soft beds, this may not be your cup of tea. The bathroom was a bit outdated, but in o.k. condition. The grounds were kept up nicely and there were convenient parking lots situated around the facility. Over all a good deal for the price.

great for te money

the hotel was nice & economic.we were only staying one nite,& didnt want to spend alot of money on it,since we were only going to be sleeping in it. so over all it was a nice stay.

pool area nice,but ......

the rooms are nice,pool it's big but the only thing was the continental breakfast:they don't give you anything else but a pastry and a juice or coffee i expectes fruit,yogurt at least some cereal for the kids . it was the worst thing ever happen to me on a hotel
