    The location of the hotel is great, A block away is Jaffa street which leads down to Jaffa gate in the old city. A block from the cheap buses to Tel Aviv or other cities. In the center of the new city. Hotel is up a flight of stairs. Room small but ok, good bed. bath tiny, breakfast minimal.

    I have stayed at the Palatin many times over the years, initially for location..The hosts are very nice( I feel like I'm coming home when I get there)...it is a simple place, the breakfast fare is simple, but adequate, clean & they try to please..free wireless internet...I have left items there in past & always knew they would be safe & returnedto me (usually on next visit)..if you want to be in the center of Jerusalem with access to whatever you may want or need there, the location can't be beat, especially for the price.
