Palace Hotel San Michele

Location. The Palace Hotel San Michele is located in Monte Sant'Angelo, Italy, 15 kilometres from the sea, 18 kilometres from the Catholic shrine of San Giovanni Rotondo, and 25 kilometres from the Umbra Forest. The train station is 500 metres away, and there is a heliport on site.

Hotel Features. Built in the 19th Century, The Palace Hotel San Michele has been refurbished in classic style with wood panelling and polychrome marble. It sits 840 metres above sea-level on the highest flowered terrace of Apulia, along the ancient Sacred Longobardonum Way, facing a Norman-Swabian castle and medieval district. The hotel has complimentary secure garage parking, a 24-hour front desk, and an all-hours room service menu.

The Palace Hotel San Michele restaurant is the Arcangelo, serving Apulian and Italian dishes and international cuisine. Gluten-free meals are available on request. Expert Tip. The Sanctuary Grotto of San Michele, sometimes called Monte Gargano, is the oldest shrine in Europe dedicated to the Archangel Michael.
