Pala Mesa Resort - Fallbrook/Temecula

Nice resort

We were pleased once again with our stay. This is a very clean hotel, except this time, I saw a flea on the sheets. We don't have animals, so I'm not sure where it came from.

Simply Aweful

The photos online, show a clean and tranquil facility. the hotel is actually a complex of old studio apartments that were converted to a hotel sometime. the parking is a huge problem, our specific parking area was blocked by massive SUV's. the road within the buildings, needs serious overhaul, pithalls and gravel all over. the room was moldy and smelled bad. the water pressure was not there at all. hated this place.

Hard Bed -no parking

I do not think we will be staying at this hotel again becuase of the parking situation. We were made aware of a wedding on premisis upon check in, but assured that the wedding guests would be parking in a specified area and we would have parking near our room. When we returned to our room after dining in Temecula we had to circle guest parking 2x's and finally found a spot that was quite a long way away from our room. The bed in the room felt like we were sleeping on a stone floor. Although this hotel has nice amenities and we will be back to dine, we will not stay at the hotel again.

Needs Improvement

Thermostat was difficult to control Hotel needed remodelling - There was fraying wallpaper. Very noisy. There was a wedding party just behind the rooms that played music until early morning hours. Food was excellent, however.

Restaurant Needs Improvement

The restaurant had horrible service.

This is NOT Pala Casino

I booked this hotel thinking I was staying at Pala Casino. The name can be very misleading and I was extrememly dissappointed. That being said, we stayed the night. We visited the Temecula Wine country and the hotel is approx 15-20 minutes south of Temecula. The hotel itself it outdated and MUSTY. As another person put it, "It looks like a cabin in Big Bear". The walls are thin and linens are old. The furniture, tv and resort are in need of renovations. We definately would not stay again. Make sure you realize that this is not the casino. They also told me...this happens all the time. At least 2 X a day. Very dissapointed.

Nice hotel

Nestled in the mountains, around a golf course and very nice residential area. Quiet, beautiful landscape.

Bedding

The comforter is not very comfortable, along with a bed that is too soft.

Large Rooms in a relaxing location

We stayed for 3 nights are really enjoyed our stay. The golf course was beautiful. The Restraunt was nice. The room was a bit dated, but very clean and large.

OK room

Large spacious room, but not great on the amenities. The TV was old and outdated, and the cable was very limited. Internet was available but not wireless and grout in bathroom around shower wasn't very clean. It was beautiful outside and the area is great but the place is just a bit outdated and needs some updating.
