Unbelieveable Views

We were on the 12th floor and saw sunsets that I will always remember. Also were able to see sea turtles and sealions from our Lanai. I would like to return in Feb to see the Whales migrate. The Outrigger will be one of my first choices when we return to Maui. We had the two bedroom 2 1/2 baths and my family was curtain that we were in the "PENTHOUSE".

Nice room for the money.

We absolutely enjoyed our trip, this location and our accomodations. I would encourage you to stay at this location.

Outstanding

Very nice accommodations. Hotel lobby was being renovated at the time of my stay, so that made for some inconvenience. However, I'm sure the renovations will soon be completed and all will be great! The room was spacious. Kitchen was equipped with everything you need. Washer and dryer in the room was a great addition! Bathroom was a little small, but considering everyting I would highly recommend the Outrigger Royal Kahana to anyone going to Maui. Excellent!

Nice moderate Condo-Hotel

If you're looking for a "priced-right" condo-hotel on Maui that is ocean-front, then this might be the one for you. It is very convenient to get to from the airport in Kahului and is also close to the Kaanapali resorts and shopping including Lahaina. Parking is free which is worth about $25 a day in the area. One thing - this is an older hotel but well kept. They are painting the outside now. The grounds are impeccable. The only two complaints I had during the week were: 1. This is a non-smoking property and they even mean the grounds outside. We got some ugly looks from the Mgt on several occasions. We still smoked outside but was considerate of those around the pool. Still, they should have a smoking area outside. 2. Towels! We had the hardest time getting them to realize that we had 4 people in our room thus needed 4 sets of towels everyday. We were constantly calling or going down to the front desk. Outside of those two issues, we liked our stay at this Outrigger property very much.

great room for the money

good location, great beach, swimming pool is very well located and they have done a great job of planting trees as a wind buffer. We were pleased to find that the room had a washer and dryer in the room very convenite. No dishwasher which was a disappointmtnt. Room was comfortable and clean, kitchen well equipped except for the dishwasher. The check in was easy and professional. The hotel info they gave us at check-in needs to be update somewhat, ie. telephone usage, where to find beach towels and ice machine. Most importantly I feel we got a good value for our price, we felt safe and comfortable.
