needs some upgrades

The beds were not comfortable, the airconditioner was loud, but it did have all I expected for the kitchette. We stayed at the Waikiki Marriott and enjoyed that better eventhough it did not have a kitchen.

Pretty Solid Digs

Pros: Excellent View over Fort DeRussy and the beach. Cons: The elevators sucked. They were absolute crap. Took way too long. Free high-speed internet should have been wireless, or at least had a cable long enough to reach the balcony.

Clean room with mini kitchen

I was happy to see there was a very nice room with a mini ice box, kitchen sink and basic dishes. There was a nice pool and two large grills for cooking but I didn't use them because the beach was a very close walk and there were plenty of good restaurants.

Nice Place to Stay

My wife and I recently had the opportunity to stay at the Outrigger Luana, and it turned out to be a nice place. The price was a bit high, but it was quite a bit cheaper than the hotels that were right by the water. If you are not afraid to walk a bit, the Waikiki is very accessible. The bathrooms didn't have an exhaust fan, was the only real issues that I could find. The balcony had a nice view of the gas station, but that didn't bother me too much. The rooms were of nice size and there were lots of drawers. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet on the 4th floor. For the money, it was the nice place to stay and I would refer others to this hotel.

Great hotel in a good location

Hotel was accessible and clean. Only complaint was $18/day for parking but it was really convenient. Nice large room with a small lanai. Elevators were a bit slow at times. Desk clerk had some incorrect information regarding a local entertainment option.
