Customer Service Issues at check-in and check-out

At check-in, we were not informed of the free breakfast to guests. We ordered room service everyday as we were not aware of this. I could have saved over $200 USD! At check-out, my credit card was almost charged the entire amount of the hotel stay as they did not believe me that I already paid hotels.com for the room. Once I insisted that they make a phone call, it was cleared up. No apology was given, but at least my credit card was not charged over $1500 USD. The rooms are big, they really do have ocean views and the hotel is VERY close to the water -- this part I loved!

Wonderful View!

Great location. Good view and value for the price paid. The staff were helpful and made an excellent dinner recommendation to Camarones, a seafood restaurant a few blocks away.

Good spot

I've stayed in 2 hotels in Fortaleza and this is the better of the 2. Service is good and the room is clean, but keep in mind that if you get a room with a double or queen size bed, it will not face the ocean. For some reason, only rooms with twin beds have ocean views. Also, the cable TV in this hotel is the best I've encountered in Fortaleza. Several English speaking stations.
