"Needs Improvement"

While i was thier my room was under re-construction and i was never told about this and also i never got the pool view i paid for. Also i woke up the first morning to banging on my roof and at least 5 workers on my balcony....Not a good stay!

Fabulous pool

The best part about the stay was the fabulous large pool with several waterfalls. It made you feel like you were swimming in a lagoon in the Bahamas. The poolside bar was cute with a great view but very overpriced. Service and amenities were top notch and great value for the room rate but the hotel was isolated from other civilization. You couldn't walk anywhere to shop so you were forced to pay the exhorbitant hotel store prices for needed items or pay $20 each way for a 2-3 mile taxi ride. To sum it up, we had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, but came home with empty pockets!

Not much of a hotel

The Marriott World Center Resort is a great place to lay your head down and it is convienent to the parks. If you are looking for any thing at night, this is not the place. The restaurants, ice cream shop, shops, and lounges close way to early and there is no entertainment of any kind. We stayed over a holiday weekend and there was nothing to do, everthing closed up around 8:00 pm. They seem to cater to the convention side and not their hotel guests. The hotel is beautiful and the pool was nice, but that was about it. We had to leave the hotel for evening entertainment and dessert. There are other hotels in the area that will offer all of your needs, my advice is to shop around.

parking sucked

No free parking had to pay to park at hotel.

The hotel was beautiful and the rooms were very comfortable and clean. Every room has a balcony and even though we didn't need it, there was a pull out couch. Room service is very expensive, but there are restaurants to go to inside the hotel. The only negative is that the parking is far away from the rooms, they send a shuttle every 5 minutes but if your waiting for it later at night, the shuttle is less frequent and you have to call for one. I think if I stay again, I may splurge and get valet service just to save myself the hassle.

Needs a lift

The place is a little outdated. Mr. Marriott needs to invest in a GOOD interior designer.

Family Trip to Disney

Great place to stay for a family. Also, a terrific value! The location was very convenient to Disney and universal. large and clean rooms. The most comfortable beds we've ever slept in at a hotel + a huge choice of pillows! My kids also really enjoyed the pool. The breakfast buffet was also very good. Though, may be a bit big (and busy) for a couple traveling alone.

Great breakfast

Dinner was fair at Mikado at best. Over-rated hibachi japanese style restaurant. However, breakfast made up for it in spades. Great for families and conventions. Not recommend for romantic getaway or business travel as it's a huge convention style hotel. So if you are with kids or a convention this property is your place. Very convenient just 2 miles or less out of Disney complex.

noisy outside aircondithioner equipment

outside is very noisy for airconditioner equipment. It's not so comfortable night time.

Very nice hotel/resort

The hotel over all was great. The rooms were a bit hot even with air conditioning. Jsut couldn't get the temp right. The pool bar closes WAY to early. If you want to appeal to business travelers/romantic couples this needs to stay open longer. I was VERY impressed with the Solaris Restaurant. Excellent food! And the staff was great. Your registration staff was also very accomodating!
