Trip Type: Business Review 17 of 60Dirty hotel
I hate to write a bad review but it was really bad. Here is what I had a problem with. Bad things: Dirty Sheets, pillows, blankets, and comforter. (all had previous stains in it somewhere. I think they need to be replaced and not washed anymore.) Bathroom looked old and had crust on the shower head. (I showered in a friends hotel because of it) The hallway had black stains everywhere and had a bad odor. I am use to very clean hotels and I guess I took it for granted that all hotel had a minimum standard. Good things: Very friendly staff Cable tv Low price yes but I expected at least a clean room with sheets and pillows without stains.

I was a little afraid because the price was good but the help was friendly and the rooms were nice. Its an older hotel but it was clean and I felt safe. The down town area is VERY clean and events are in walking distance.

Trip Type: With Friends Review 19 of 60Decent place to stay for Citrus Bowl events
This is a decent place to stay if you're in town for an event at the Florida Citrus Bowl. The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. However, there are some "rough" neighborhoods just a few blocks from the hotel and there isn't a lot to do in downtown Orlando. If you're in town for a vacation a resort may be a better option. But if you're just in town for a night or two this isn't a bad option for the price.

Considering the price, I got what I paid for!

Short walk to downtown clubs and bars. Felt safe walking at night. Check in was very cordial and simple. Will book again when we go see future shows at The Social or Firestone.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 22 of 60Stay Away!
Unsafe neighborhood. Staff was not friedly, Room was hot and smelled like an ash tray and a carton of smoked cigs' after a non-smoking room was requested. Bathroom was gross w/mold and hair all over the floor and in the shower w/tiles popping off the shower walls. Very loud hallways during the late night hours. Location only good if your going to a Magic game, other than that don't bother! I'm usually not one to complain about a bed to sleep in but please stay away from this place.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 23 of 60Much Improved!
My mom and I had stayed there a few years back to attend a conference and it was "you get what you paid for". We decided to try again and were pleasantly surprised. The carpet had been replaced, the room painted and it was a great value for the money! The walls are still a little thin and the bathrooms tiny and need a little TLC, but what a difference! The staff is very friendly and the rooms and sheets are clean. Towels need to be replaced, but overall it was a wonderful stay.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 24 of 60OK place for a short stay
Certainly NOT a fancy hotel, but what do you expect at the price?! A big surprise for us was the comfort of the bed! We slept SO well!

Trip Type: Overnight Stay Review 25 of 60You get what you pay for
My wife and I attended the Magic vs Celtics game and just wanted a hotel that was cheap and close to the arena. I wish we had spent some extra money and gotten a better hotel. The room was clean, the bathroom was very tiny, and the walls are paper thin. If you ever stay here, ask for a room away from the laundry room. Besides the numerous people yelling all night up and down the hall, the cleaning ladies decided to have loud conversations from 5 in the morning until we left at 10. Its loud in the laundry room, so of course, they had to yell over the machines. I assumed they were robots, because it seemed like a breath was never taken between the two of them. Again, the room was what we paid for, a cheaper price than all the other hotels, but it would have been so much better had we just paid a little extra and gotten a much nicer stay.

Trip Type: Business Review 27 of 60typical shabby hotel room
Its alright if you need a cheap hotel room for a night. One night was enough for me. the room smelled funky and there was only a stand up shower in the room which was moldy. But, it was better than sleeping on the sidewalk!

Trip Type: Special Event Review 28 of 60Ok Stay
Hotel was nice for the price. Bathroom was a little small and dirty. Shower was literally 2 1/2 X 2 1/2 feet with broken up tile. Bed was nice and hotel close to downtown.

The room could have been cleaner, but it wasn't terribly nasty. The towels were dingy. The guy at the front desk was nice, and the location was pretty good. The one night I stayed was enough.

Trip Type: Special Event Review 30 of 60Good bargain for downtown Orlando
Great location, only a few blocks from all the downtown nightspots. I happened had a great view of the Citrus Parade. All the rooms are located on the inside, which appears a little dingy, but the room itself was quite clean. The bathroom door tended to brush up against the sink when trying to close. Also the in-room coffee maker wouldn't brew unless I held the button down. Front desk staff was very courteous and helpful both night and day. All in all, well worth the price.
