    I'm surprised that this is rated 3 stars. Perhaps the rating system for Israel is not as stringent as in other countries. The hotel was old, and showed it. The sheets and towels, although apparently clean, were an unappealing grey. What little furniture there was was extremely cheap, and in poor condition. The carpet looked absolutely filthy. Every sound carried from one room to another. Noise from outside came in loud and clear through the hole in the wall where a fan probably was meant to be. The bathroom contained one tiny little shelf, upon which someone's partially used mouthwash was left.
