Omni San Francisco Hotel

Excellent choice in great location

Great location convenient to financial district, Union Square, etc. Outstanding, friendly staff. Property in very good physical condition. Excellent value.

Great View, no hesitation in changing rooms

We had a very nice room at the Omni. We changed rooms from the first room we had as we looked into offices across the way. We were given a room two floors up (17 floor) right on top of the room we had before, but above the office view and in exchange were given a room with a spectacular view of the bay! No extra charge. The staff was very friendly, including the doormen who were very attentive. It was a quiet location (financail district) with the California Cable line right in front of the hotel, which made it very easy to get around. It is a couple of blocks in any direction to any area in the city a tourist would have on their agenda. We are local (30 miles down the pennisula), so we know the city pretty well and found this hotel wonderful for a get-away.

Great Location

This hotel had a great location--walking distance to Union Square without going over Nob Hill. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable.

Excellent Service and Amenities

I was very impressed with the high level of professionalism and service from all of the employees of the Omni Hotel. Everyone was extremely friendly and welcoming. The rooms were very elegant, clean, and inviting, with all the conveniences of my own home. I will definitely stay there again on one of my future visits to San Francisco.

GREAT place

The staff couldn't have been nice or more helpful, the rooms were extremely nice and clean, and the location was great for getting around the city. The only drawback was trying to get a cab. For some reason, there weren't a lot of cabs in the area, but the hotel had access to a fleet of town cars which were quite reasonable. I'd stay there again, no question.

Very Pleased with this Selection

Great employees, very helpful staff, great service, nothing negative to say!

So-So Room.

Based on the online reviews, I had certain expectations for the Omni that simply were not met. Much nicer hotels in a variety of locations in SF. Plus we were booked into a "smoking optional", which we didn't request.
